Bio and Links
Bio Photo The majority of memorials created by Grand View Volunteers are for interments at Grand View Memorial Park & Crematory, Inc. in Glendale, Calif.

Initial records that were available for upload to FindAGrave contained only names and plot locations. Updating birth/death dates continue to be done based on inquiries, photo requests, and ongoing research. >99% of all Grand View interments were added as of 12/31/2010.

Updates to information or transfers to direct family members will happily be made, once the person/page is confirmed to be correctly identified. Since the original list used to upload did not have birth/death dates, transfers can only be made once those dates have been confirmed. If you are requesting transfer of a page that has not yet been updated, please provide the dates you believe are correct with your request. Those dates will then be cross-checked against Lot Sheets for interment date consistency, as well as other online records.

To provide information or request a transfer, please use the "Suggest A Correction (SAC)" link, located on the Edit Tab (upper right corner) of the page in question.

NOTE: By using the new tools to add or edit information for the following items will ensure faster edits!

* Birth/death date, birth/death place
* Relationship (parent and spouse links)
* Name

Using the "Suggest other Corrections" option will send an email message that includes links to both the memorial page as well as your Contributor ID so there will be no errors in updating or transferring the correct page. Don't forget to specify your relationship!

In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, transfer requests for pages that are outside FAQ Guidelines for required transfers will be considered on an individual basis.

Bazzelleel and Lee Pitzer are the same
There is a duplicate in this cemetery. Please contact the other person and clear it up. He was born 1 Aug 1887 PA and died 20 Apr 1937 in Freedom, Beaver, PA but was buried in this cemetery and someone else has him and his headstone showing as Lee Pitzer. They are one and the same.

#47486487 William Maurice De La Nux
Aloha! As genealogist and a lot of us (that have been researching) know that the government, transcribers and people giving info made many mistakes. Mistakes w/ Names, birth & death dates, gender and I could go on. Even the people themselves gave incorrect info!
You forgot to add on the WWI Draft Reg. his birth date; 4 Sept 1896 and the other info it has, BIRTH YEAR (Estimated)!
You cannot come to a conclusion with quick look ups.
Hawaii Archives has marriage date as, 22 Dec 1917. Now who is correct... Hawaii Archives or Family Search? So in depth research is a must.
Both are my bloodline. The cousin of De La Nux married my paternal grand aunt and the brother of Mary Lindsey married my maternal grand aunt.
You don't have to change anything. Just wanted to point out some things. As long as my genealogy is correct is really what matters!
Btw, if you did in depth research, you would know that there were 2 William Maurice De La Nux.

Mahalo. Smiles of Aloha, G

#47548804 Rollen E. Sisson
Greetings,
Is it possible to obtain the birth year and death date for Rollen E. Sisson at GVMP? Looking for a gentleman from NY by the same name; born circa 1884. Thank you.

Good day! I was wondering if you could please transfer this memorial to me as Harold George Reynolds (Aug 12, 1912 to 22 May 2002)is the husband of my aunt, Marguerite R. Reynolds (#50503134) and I'd like to add more info. Thanks for the consideration!

Thanks for the transfer I see you have the memorial for my husbands parents too - I will go to edit and make a request for them too, Meade and Nell ( Stell) Chatham. Other Stell's are there, memorials were set by someone else.

RE: Marion Lewis #47538965
Thanks so much for sorting out the problem and for adding the edit. I probably entered Ada's spousehood through her memorial and Lizzie's via Marion or Lizzie and the computer got confused. Not sure what happened. I'll be on the lookout for a similar scramble in the future, and will make a point of entering both spouses via the same memorial, when possible. Thanks again. And thanks for the memorial transfer of Susan Millar.
