Family names on my mother's side: maternal: Stochl (Stokel); Moel (Mohl); Broz (Brosh, Brush); and Ilick (Jilek); paternal: Messenger; Allen; Leighton; Gibbons; Goss.

On my father's side: maternal: DeReus; Van Hoeve; paternal: Van Dyke (VanDyk, van Dijke); Romers

In her approximately 25 years of pre-Internet research, my mother Helen (Messenger) Van Dyke, was able to prove two ancestor links to the Mayflower on the Messenger side; one to William White (through Mary Goss), the other to Richard Warren (through Lemuel Gibbons).

Ancestors are buried in NH, MA, ME, PA, OH, IN and IA primarily.
