I have been on and off as a genealogist since 1990, collected resources and old family photos on both of my parents' lineages. About 92% of my lineages had immigrated to America before the American Revolution.
My father's lineages in Maryland: Barber, Burroughs, Burrus/Bary (France), Ricketts, Beall, Reitz (Germany), Mullican, Nicholson, Williams, Rine, Rabbitt, Johnson, Trail, Lewis, Holland, Walker, Clay, Butt, Barrett, Bynes, Mollineaux, Ricketts, Northcraft, Cheney and others.
My mother's lineages in Virginia: Joseph, Coffelt, Arey, Nester, Dunnivan, Guyer, Kauffman/Coffman, Hollar, Knight, Nicely, Shifflett, Miley, Helsley, Rinker, Hewitt/Hughett, Dake, Rawley, Stowers, Briant, Miller, Dillinger, Waggoner, Carle, Kauffman/Coffman and others.
Johnny William Barber, Alan Barber and I, each of us had a Y-chomosome test done by Family Tree DNA who informed us that we are a perfect 111/111 match.
