Hello Martha
Just to let you know I've added some photographs to the Charles Peck memorial. There is a memorial inside the Priory Church of St Michael & St Felix, Rumburgh to the 446th Bomb Group.
Happy New Year from the UK!

RE: Sharpe
It's not the greatest photo, so I'll have another go next time I'm walking through the cemetery. :)

Re: Mary Sharpe headstone
Hello Martha,

I live next to the Salem Cemetery, and have wandered through it many times. I've had a look for Mary Sharpe, but, as yet, I haven't found her. Is Sharpe her maiden or married name? Do you have any additional information about her burial location?

I'll keep an eye out, but if you have any additional information, that may help.

Thanks, Kelly Scottisheart

Mary Sharpe

The Willows Cemetery Office gave me copies of their record along with a copy of the PERMIT FOR DISPOSITION.... I'd be happy to send these to you if you would send me your USPS mailing address. You can send your reply to me at :0)

RE: Foster
I'm glad to help. Maplewood is a beautiful cemetery. My father and his parents are there.

I was able to look back and find these corrections and made them, verifying with your source. Check them over please.

Mine may be found on p 48 (Rachel Rust marrying Jonathan Gilbert--both buried in Magnolia) and on p 73 (Lucy Rust marrying Benjamin Gilbert).

RE: Joseph Rust
It's not the same Joseph Rust. The son of Mary and Joseph was born about the same time but died in 1844 in Maine and is buried there--see pp 138-139 of the reference you noted. So the parents are not correct.

This is pretty common in Essex research as family names were reused and the lines can get *very* tangled.
