RE: Mary Filippetti
Message from my father:

Mary was my mother's older sister. She actually died while staying with my mother while recuperating from having cataract surgery. She suffered a stroke on Christmas Day and spent a couple of weeks in Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY where she passed away. Her husband, Albert, died in 1967 or 68. I don't know anything about his past other than he was born in Italy and came over as a young teenager I believe. Their daughter, Elvera, never married and died at the age of 83 of pulmonary fibrosis. I was her power of attorney for the last nine years of her life.

Blast this Kindle when it changes my words. Her name was Arriana Duroe Yates. I sent quick before double checking. Kept hearing a truck and horn blowing. Not sure what is going on. The farmer across the road is trying to drive cows in the dark toward the barn. They didn't seem to want to go. I noticed he was careful when out of the truck prodding them along as they have a bull in with the herd.

Hello Kathryn,
Thank you for the great job you have done in adding information and memorials on the Yates family. I started out looking for the father of Donald Yates today. Hours later, I'm still looking. Hmmmm. Did you ever come across the bad boy of the family? Sounds like he was a pedophile teacher and when cornered in his attic, he shot and killed a state trooper. He is buried at Hillington, but may be an unmarked grave. I think he shot himself. There are pages on it in a scrapbook I own. His mother is the connection into the Yates family from ours. Son of Capt. George and Adriana Furor Yates.
