Schaaf
You requested a transfer for Mary Dorthea Larson Schaaf, Find A Grave Memorial# 114517605. I am making an assumption that you are related. Any way, I have a question. Is it possible that the daughter, Anna Schaff, that is linked to Mary and Joseph is the wrong Anna Schaaf. I am thinking that the correct Anna is Anna F. Schaaf Seberg, Find A Grave Memorial# 129627087. Please let me know what your thoughts are regarding this issue.

RE: Quelle requests
Going through my photos, found the Quelle ones I took and couldn't remember why I hadn't posted them yet. Helen and Theodore where not in Highland Cemetery in Casper, they where in Natrona Memorial Garden. But they where not in the computer, had to go to the old file cabinet to find them. But they are up now.

Hi, Kathy,
I am doing some research on the National Archives for Rupert T and for Lillian Lucile ("Lucile"). One census indicated that Bohemian was the language spoken at Rupert's home, and one census had Anton born in Czechoslovakia and another census listed Bohemia for Anton. Back in 1877 (before WWI) there were some different configurations of countries (for instance, "Prussia" was made part of Poland after WWI, but all my Prussian relatives spoke German. Other parts of "Prussia" became West Prussia and part of Germany. So I don't know the history, but I do know Czechs and Bohemians didn't really see each other as the same. Perhaps you could look up in family files about where Anton was born?
Also, while Rupert had a lovely wedding and a 5 month old daughter a year or so later, there was a significant event that happened to Rupert and his wife that resulted in them quickly selling their pharmacy--and then I couldn't find anything more about Mrs. Rupert. I am going to put that in Rupert's bio--but a little more gently--take a look and if you wish removal or change please let me know.

Robert J. Wit
Hi Kathy,

I just found this site and am trying to figure out how to add children to someone. Robert Wit was my Grandfather and I would like to include some additional information.

RE: adoption
Thank you for getting back to me.
My grandfathers birth name was Charles Edward Ogle, adopted by my great grand parents "Rickard" became his last name.

My no biological great grandparents could not have children. Upon my Great grandmothers death bed is when my Geandfather found out he had been adopted, we know vwry little.

I have (in storage at this time) his original birth records. I know it listed county/town, but don't have it on hand.

I found this link by searching Ada Ogle, Nebraska via.google!
I know what my biological Great grandmothers name was, no father listed as I said.
But looking @ the dates of the other children, I figured maybe just maybe they may not have been able to support a 3rd child, and oppted to adopt under her maiden name, because of coarse she was older for that time, I see she had a child when she was around 30.
My grandfather was born may 23 1916.
