I was born May 1, 1959, in Mt Clemons, Michigan. |
Myrtle Oliver Oberlin
On February 14 1998 I married Michael Smarr, my childhood sweetheart. He has been my soulmate and has been with me through the Great and the Hard times, ever by my side.
In Oct 2006 I was diagnosed with terminal Breast Cancer and told I had two years to live.
In 2007 my son got married, and they have given us two of the most precious granddaughters.
In 2010 my sister Carol Oberlin Fortin and I found we both enjoyed geneology, so we started putting our family up on Find A Grave.
Now my Granddaughters will have a permenant record of their family.
The Lord has truely Bessed Me. It is now June 2012, It has been a struggle but worth every minute.
As we travel we find and enter cemeteries, so if I have your family member, no matter how far up the tree, please ask for the memorial, and if its not our family I would be honored to transfer it to you.
May God Bless you, Janice
Janice Oberlin Smarr

You have a precious family and I so much enjoyed reading your delightful Bio.
My relative Barbary KIVETT Find A Grave#118767526 married another relative of mine Josiah WHITE (who is currently attached to the incorrect John White family). I have researched these GERMAN families for many years. There was a strong migration into my native Randolph County, North Carolina (Colonial Orange County) back in the 1750=1760 time frame of those escaping religious persecutions in Germany.... My ancestors are filled with many families of faith who came to America to be free to worship God without the persecutions of their home land.
I would be very pleased to receive a transfer of my relative Find A Grave Memorial# 118767526 to Dennis York #47405652. You kind consideration of this request will be greatly appreciated.
Have a Blessed Day, Thank You Dennis York #47405652.

Just wanted to let you know that I accepted your updates for his parents. Thank you very much for the update and going the extra mile to ensure accuracy.

I'm related to Wm. Elmer Smith. His father Jacob, Jr. was a brother to Cyrus, my great, great grandfather.
Thank you for contacting me and adding info the the FindAGrave site.
I still haven't updated my family tree!

On the Find A Grave website, you added parents for Thomas that I donít think are correct. I am pretty sure he is the son of Joseph Anderson 73628555 and Margaret OíConnor 112684077. Margaret is my motherís great-aunt.
"my" Thomas is in the 1940 census with his parents.
Thomas Anderson is a common name so there may be a mix-up. Let me know what you think.

I'm not related in any manner. Presently, I'm simply working on a personal project regarding Belmont Co. Civil War vets. I'm trying to get memorials and photographs for all of them. My genealogy focuses on Belmont Co., that's all. I didn't recognize your name, so I asked for a transfer. Sometimes I get it, sometimes I don't.
My larger project is making memorials and taking photographs for Mead, Putltney and Richland twps. I have a couple people helping me.
If you have even a little interest in Alexander, u should keep him.

First I want to thank you for these two memorials and the photos. I could never find them to show where they were buried, but because of your great effort, they have been found. I have requested through the edit system to have them transferred to me for maintaining.
