I was born May 1, 1959, in Mt Clemons, Michigan. |
Myrtle Oliver Oberlin
On February 14 1998 I married Michael Smarr, my childhood sweetheart. He has been my soulmate and has been with me through the Great and the Hard times, ever by my side.
In Oct 2006 I was diagnosed with terminal Breast Cancer and told I had two years to live.
In 2007 my son got married, and they have given us two of the most precious granddaughters.
In 2010 my sister Carol Oberlin Fortin and I found we both enjoyed geneology, so we started putting our family up on Find A Grave.
Now my Granddaughters will have a permenant record of their family.
The Lord has truely Bessed Me. It is now June 2012, It has been a struggle but worth every minute.
As we travel we find and enter cemeteries, so if I have your family member, no matter how far up the tree, please ask for the memorial, and if its not our family I would be honored to transfer it to you.
May God Bless you, Janice
Janice Oberlin Smarr

Update: It is now July 2016, I had a heart attack in March one week before my birthday. I am struggling to recover. Praise the Lord I am still able to enjoy my family and treasure hunt with our ancestors.

I see you've linked my Dad. Thanks!

Regarding your listing # 100952154, George Dunmore Cram and Bertha Johnson, these were my grandparents. My father is not listed here as their son. His name was Edward Johnson Cram (1929-1988). I would appreciate it if you added him to your registry.
I transferred the Isabell Robinson memorial to you as requested. I forgot to remove the birth date and location. The death date was found in a Death Record book. If you can match her up with a husband it would be great. It seems she was not the wife of Alexander Robinson. I believe you have discovered more about her.

There will be a duplicate if I don't delete the memorial I made. I will hold off doing that as you asked. I never got a memorial transfer so fast before. Thanks

You're welcome! I'm glad I was able to fulfill your photo request.

Thank you for your feedback. Looks like I'm going to have to do a bit more digging to find Sarah Hanna Lauthers, wife of James Lauthers/Lawthers. I was trying to figure out if the James Lawthers Sarah Hanna married was the same James Lawthers Jane Tabitha Hanna married. I was at least able to prove James Lawthers, memorial 69866414 was the husband of Jane Tabitha Hanna through his last will. I submitted an edit to her memorial to connect them. Thank you, and the best of luck in your research.

Hello. I hope you are doing well. Do you by chance recall where you got the burial information for Sarah Lawthers, Find A Grave Memorial# 69866610? Or do you know where I might go to find a birth/death for her? I think she may have been the first wife of James Lawthers, memorial 69866414, but without a birth or death I cannot be sure. Thanks.

Your request to add information to her memorial has now been completed.
|Janet||William P. Arnold|
Thank you so much for the wonderful bio you sent for William Arnold at Evans Landing Cemetery. I often put bios together and know that it takes a great deal of time. Thanks for taking the time.

Your request has been completed. My apology for long silence but between relocation to another state and emergency family medical issues, it is only now that I have reviewed your request. I have particular interest in this Waite family line since my husband is a direct descendant of Thomas Waite. I was surprised that you wanted all of the information about Frank added to his wife's memorial rather than that portion that had to do with Frank's family on his memorial and then the various census enumeriations with Mary's. But anyway, it is now done and again, my apology for not doing it sooner. Marie
