Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born May 1, 1959, in Mt Clemons, Michigan.

My Parents;
Donald Oberlin
Myrtle Oliver Oberlin

On February 14 1998 I married Michael Smarr, my childhood sweetheart. He has been my soulmate and has been with me through the Great and the Hard times, ever by my side.

In Oct 2006 I was diagnosed with terminal Breast Cancer and told I had two years to live.

In 2007 my son got married, and they have given us two of the most precious granddaughters.

In 2010 my sister Carol Oberlin Fortin and I found we both enjoyed geneology, so we started putting our family up on Find A Grave.

Now my Granddaughters will have a permenant record of their family.

The Lord has truely Bessed Me. It is now June 2012, It has been a struggle but worth every minute.

As we travel we find and enter cemeteries, so if I have your family member, no matter how far up the tree, please ask for the memorial, and if its not our family I would be honored to transfer it to you.

May God Bless you, Janice

Mercy Dirlam Photo Request
I went to Colwell Cemetery today and tried to fulfill your photo request what I found was a headstone saying "M.D Dirlam?" no dates are listed on the headstone. Also found "J.D. Dirlam?" I saw no Mercy Dirlam. This cemetery ground is very spongy and alot of them are sinking and broken or knocked over. I will post the pictures but am leavig your photo request up in case someone knows more than I

RE: great WV site
Hello!

Sometimes genealogy poses more questions than it answers. Joseph Elder was not in that transcription either. The reason I wanted to know is because is grave is now unmarked, but may have been marked at some time in the past, and the stone could have fallen over and got covered over with dirt or sod. The cemetery is very grown up too.

Thanks so much for your effort!

It is an honor to work with other dedicated genealogists on here at find a grave like you. I appreciate it very much.

Hey!
I have looked everywhere for the transcription of the Lemasters Cemetery, but cannot find it. If you know where it's at, I would love to see it or if you could email me or message me where you found it, as it is very important to me to find any transcription done of this cemetery. Trying to prove my great great great great great grandpa and grandma are buried there, unmarked.

Thanks!

RE: Joseph Elder Jr.
Would you happen to know who did the transcription or where you found the transcription? I'm just wondering because He is buried there unmarked according to family tradition. Although, some have pointed out that he may be buried in the Elder Cemetery on Big Run.
I'd appreciate Any help!

Thanks!

Hello!
Was just wondering how you found out that Joseph is buried in the Lemasters Cemetery on Walnut Fork. Would you happen to know the plot?
Thanks!

Once I check my family records (I am a direct descendant of 2 of his children), I will add the children as proven. I entered the DAR with him as my patriot. I am a native of Patrick County and just lost my Dad. I will get to it when I can. Sorry I have not gotten to it before.
