I was born May 1, 1959, in Mt Clemons, Michigan. |
Myrtle Oliver Oberlin
On February 14 1998 I married Michael Smarr, my childhood sweetheart. He has been my soulmate and has been with me through the Great and the Hard times, ever by my side.
In Oct 2006 I was diagnosed with terminal Breast Cancer and told I had two years to live.
In 2007 my son got married, and they have given us two of the most precious granddaughters.
In 2010 my sister Carol Oberlin Fortin and I found we both enjoyed geneology, so we started putting our family up on Find A Grave.
Now my Granddaughters will have a permenant record of their family.
The Lord has truely Bessed Me. It is now June 2012, It has been a struggle but worth every minute.
As we travel we find and enter cemeteries, so if I have your family member, no matter how far up the tree, please ask for the memorial, and if its not our family I would be honored to transfer it to you.
May God Bless you, Janice
Janice Oberlin Smarr

This is the number for Levi Franklin Fulcher. You are credited for the photo only. If you can direct me to where I can obtain permission to use the photo I would appreciate it.

You have posted a photo of Levi Fulcher. My family recently published my great great grandfathers journal that was written during the Civil War. It is on Amazon as "Missouri Volunteer". He mentions Levi several times as he is writing.
We are expanding our website and are trying to locate any information about the men that served in the 7th Cavalry Missouri Volunteers Company M. Would you consider letting us use the photo you have posted? Are you a descendent of Levi?
Thank you, Cindy Lamkin

Thanks for your part in putting his memorial together.
|Shannon B||Behee - Mt Muncie|
Hi Janice! I checked for clarification on Susanna and George Behee's grave location. Neither one has a headstone as it is in one of the older sections. I was able to pinpoint the general area where they are buried (the middle of each photograph). I have uploaded those photos. Feel free to remove them if you choose as I know some people would prefer only headstones and nothing more.

I checked all around Jack's site but no listing
If the spouse, Virginia, was cremated and the family has the ashes, the military does not put the name of the spouse on the headstone.
If the ashes are buried with the spouse, then the cemetery would put her name on the back of the headstone.
I hope this information helps you. If I can be any further help, please just ask.
