Bio

I am 39 and I have had a passion for searching for my family since I was 16. That was when I found out the great grandpa I always knew was actually my step-great grandfather. I then began to search for the mystery man that was not talked about. Over the years I have been told that I was one of the youngest people to ever want to do this. Most people start when they retire. To my benefit, I actually have been able to talk to living people who actually knew him and it just started my desire to find out more.
I have since then, married my husband Reggie (hit the 20 year anniversary) had two wonderful little boys and continued to search. I now have a computer, lots of data, lots of pictures and drive my family crazy with my requests to visit graveyards and libraries.
I have passed my passion on to my boys, who now know the complete history of our family and how we came to be. We have used our information for study in school and my children can relate to history in a whole new way. Having connections with the past makes it more interesting for them.
I am thankful to everyone who volunteers to help others in their quest to find their orgins.
