I am a member of the Southwest Arkansas Genealogical Society (SoWeAr) and I enjoy volunteering my time to help others in their search. Please understand that I am a busy lady and cannot always get to something immediately but will do my best to get it done as soon as possible. I volunteer to take pictures and I definitely do not mind if you use my photos on Ancestry.com or on your own family tree, but be willing to share that photo with others as well. If you would like your family members transferred to you just send me a message and I will be more than happy to do that for you if you are directly related within four generations. If you have any questions about transfers please see Find A Grave's standards on transfers under the help section.|

|JLMuck||Robert J. Dodson|
It has taken awhile to get the information I needed. I am going to email you with a document that has the Andrew J. Dodson family with all the children. I have highlighted the three siblings I was able to get obituaries for from the Banner News in Magnolia. Rosey, a librarian in Lewisville, was kind enough to get these for me. If you agree to link, I will send in new request. Thanks for your patience as I pursued the information I needed. Judy Muck

I will work on that. I see the problem. There is no 1900 census for this family. He does have a death certificate that could be ordered. According to the index his mother's name was Erma Bernew which is pretty close to Emma Burrow depending on the informant's handwriting and whoever transcribed the name. Also in the 1910 census she states she has borne 13 children and all 13 are living. Between the 1880 and 1910 census only eight of those children are accounted for. There are five who must have been born after 1880, but, out of the house by 1910. There was also an obituary published for him in the Magnolia Banner and I am trying to get a copy of that. I will get back to you. Thanks for being willing to work with me on this. Judy

Thanks for the memorial transfers.
I sent a message to the owner of the memorial, and, he probably fixed it before you saw it. There was someone on there born 1855 and listed as one of the children. I think I have since linked more of the children to the memorial, so, you probably saw some of my additions. I realized later that some of the children toward the end were her children from her second marriage. I was only following his line, so, was not paying attention to the fact that there were half siblings.
Thanks for getting back to me. Judy

Michelle - there are a couple of links to siblings that just don't make sense. I think they should be linked to someone else. The children are fine, they all agree, but, two of the siblings have dates that are more in line with the generation above or below. Judy

Ha! That must definitely get confusing! We have 5 or 6 "Brown Cemetery" listings in the county in which I live, that can get confusing when requests are made for photos and the cemeteries don't have any offices on staff in which to confirm burials. I've spent countless hours trudging through these rural cemeteries with identical names, never knowing if I'm even in the right place. Ha!

Hi Michelle, I have edited the memorial for Dixie G. Ray and now have her in the correct cemetery. Thanks for the information and your keen eye for details. Warmly, Helen

Thank You for the transfer of my families memorials.

Where in Columbia county is this cemetery located. You have several Smith plots on your list of cemetery plots.
