|Chris Coleman||Fox Cemetery - Updates|
I have several updates/corrections pending on the Fox Cemetery in Webster County;, I have five generations that are buried in this cemetery. I have fully researched all of my updates/corrections, mostly through death certificates and family records.
As a child I remember going there with my mother and grandmother to conduct grave yard cleaning and then have a picnic.
I ask my mother about some of my corrections, like Marquis Dorris (41030939) 2nd great grandfather, who is incorrectly list as a Bruce; she not only remembers him being buried there, but gave me the location in the cemetery to look. The photo I upload you can easily see that the name is Doris and not Bruce
I check the Webster County Cemetery Book I, and it had the same mistake.
If you have any questions please let me know.
Thanks for your help.

Your very welcome. I'm glad I had pictures of the stones to share.
|Chris Coleman||MB Dorris|
I was at Cullen Cemetery this weekend - I did see the stone for MB Dorris, I am not sure who he/she is.
I did find Benjamin Franklin Dorris (son) 170812087 and Burnall P Dorris (husband)170811849 , on the same stone as Nancy W (Beckman) Dorris 52093312. I took some new pictures and will upload them today.
There also looks like there has been some vandalism to the cemetery, several of the graves have been deliberately knock down.
Hi, my husband is related to the Givens. Joe's wife name is Florella, her name is on the stone along with her dates. Can you adjust? Many thanks, Dorothy Knight

I'm sorry. I'm not in the are at all. My husband's ancestors are from there and I've been getting help through find a grave and the "I grew up in Union County" Facebook page.
I am just seeing this, yes you can manage them

Life wasn't easy back then, but remember most of the ones who dies were the wives. Rhoda died in 1894, Lois in 1926 and Mary in 1945, bearing children was extra hard back then.
