I have been researching the Beets family for more than 20 years. I also research the Dunn, Mott, Land, McCreary, Miller, Addy, Marlatt, Hinman, Bassett, Rayl, Gullion, Lyon, McAlexander,Soper, and Bacon families on my father's side. I research the Harmsen, Heyde, Aleck, Moll, Geiger, Wolf and Rohde families from my mother's side. I also research my husband's Moore family from New England. I live in Mesa, Arizona and am a retired librarian.|

No I am no relative but manage one of the sites and someone brought it to my attention. Thanks for fixing it!

This obituary was put on L. Baxter Marlatt, but is for Burton Marlatt. Please delete this obituary. Thank you.
|Colette Kingsley||Re: Fortunatus Bassett grave memorial information|
Saw your citation on the Fortunatus Bassett grave about John Bassett attempting to locate his siblings Sarah, Abigail, and William by placing a notice in the Collection of genealogical notes from the Christian Advocate and Journal published in New York City for the Methodist Episcopal Church edited by Mrs. Howard K. Pierce (New York 199-) page 22. Do you have a copy of the source? I am a direct ancestor of the Abigail Bassett above and would love to have a copy of the whole journal or at least a title page and page 22 where the notice was made.

You're quite welcome. I have no ties there but since I was in the vicinity with some free time - I saw several requests listed and went out exploring. lol. If there are others you'd like transferred that I added I'd be willing to do that. I also added a few 'unknown' with what details I could decipher. Perhaps you'll recognize some.
|Jolene Chapman||RE: Bertha Harmsen|
Freeda Hamann Chapman is the wife of my great Uncle Louis Chapman-my Grandfather's half brother. Bertha is Freeda's sister. ;-)
I want to get down there and meet everyone once I can walk again. I had a bunch of bones break.
I am trying to also find a copy of the 1983 Centennial Book for Persia.
Nice to meet you. God bless...

|Sheila||"Edits" tab on home page|
HI - I'm doing a quick survey of about 400 people on my friends list just to see how many are aware of the new "Edits" tab on their home page. If you could just shoot me back a brief response, either way that would be great. Thanks.

Yes, this cemetery has seen some hard times. But it's very pretty now....just not much info left on the folks buried there. I posted a bit more history on the cemetery description page that might interest you.

|Georganna Hutchins||Barton Marlatt|
You have Barton's obit on his brother's memorial. Go back and read it. Barton was buried in Pennsylvania and his wife's name was Wilda...
|Georganna Hutchins||The Addy's|
I too connect to the Addy's. My great-grandmother was Sarah Addy Nelson. Her parents were Hugh and Margaret Warden Addy. Maybe we can share research....
