|Earl Buckingham||William Pierce|
Thank you for the quick response for the correction on William Pierce. I have created a memorial for Sarah Bower Pierce, William's second wife which I will link to him. William and Sara had no children, but they raised John and May after his first wife Lillen Bosworth Pierce died before 1880. I do not know where Lillen is buried.
Again, Thank You!

Hi, Debbie. Info added to Mariam's bio per your request. I'll transfer her to you, also.

Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into locating him. So sad that he doesn't have a stone, but at least I know. His obituary also says he was buried at Greensburg, so I will stop trying to find something that just isn't there. I do appreciate that now I will stop wondering. Thank you.

You are very welcome, glad to find that their final resting place was marked. So many of the older graves either were never marked, or a marker no longer exists for one reason or another.

Thanks a lot,
|Carol Darling||RE: Prosper Palmer|
You are very welcome. :-)
Just an additional thank you. Your correction has prompted me to add a note to her memorial about this subject. It is a real pet peeve of mine. I have made it my mission to try to clear up this misunderstanding and should have added the note long ago.

Thank you for your input but I received your correction for Hattie & have declined it. Despite several obituaries of her children, her maiden name was NOT Chilson. She was my great grandmother & I did a ton of research into what her maiden name actually was. It was a mission of mine. Some sources said that it was Johnson. There was much confusion over it. Her marriage license & death certificate both say that it was Benjamin. Most of the Chilson references are of a more current date & I believe someone tried to recall what her maiden name was & recalled the maiden name of her mother-in-law instead.

Thank you for the obit on Gordon Morey. I must have missed that one, I have a much longer one that appeared on the day before the one you found. I just have not taken the time to type it out. There was also an article on the accident on the 21st. I will have to see if I have a good picture of him to put on the memorial. (He was the husband of one of my favorite Aunts, although he died before I was born)
