I recently got interested in genealogy when my Mom decided to move into a retirement home. We were going through boxes of pictures and I realized I didn't know who these people were or how they were related. So we spent a couple of days going through boxes and having good memories. When I got home I thought "What am I going to do with all this stuff?" I joined ancestry.com and the rest is history - I am hooked! Through that I found this site and am so appreciative of the information. I just changed my profile to photo volunteer -- so I'm going to give it a shot!
