Bio and Links
Bio Photo I research the McWh*rter family and I am a member of the McWh*rter family DNA project Kit# 15497.I am the DNA representative for William McWhirter 1720-1802 and his brother Henry McWhirter I live in Lincoln County Tennessee. I have 38 years of Family research to exchange with anyone who has connections or information on this family. I research North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina and Texas. My main families are McWhirter, Moore, Ferrier, Marlin, Baker, Lewis, Little, Delong. I work to expand all the memorials I manage and link each and every person to their family members. I do not care for people who horde memorials for no other reason than to say they have the greatest amount of memorials, that they plan to do nothing with "ever".

Alma Henry - please respond
Hi Jesse. I am still looking for Alma Henry at Royal Palm and it would be helpful if you could provide a little more information. I posted a problem on the photo request a while ago and would like to hear from you. "I have found a lovely Henry family monument with separate markers for Chester & Virginia. There is space for other family members but no other markers. Is Alma related to Chester and Virginia, and is it possible that she doesn't have a marker? I will continue looking throughout the cemetery." I also sent you a message on Oct 3 about another find. Please let me know if any of these people are related to Alma or could be her. Could she be Elma? I'll keep Alma on my list but there's always a possibility that she was buried with family and has no marker. Sarah

Alma or Elma Henry?
Hello. Just found an Elma Henry buried with George Henry. Could that be the Alma Henry you are looking for? Unfortunately there are only names on the marker--no dates. I've been through most of Royal Palm and will do another sweep. Sarah

Jesse, I think that Eliza Cattles Johns had only one son with her husband and the child died young (age 4?). Do you have any more information on her and her children?

Carol Adams Rowlands Hays
Hays & McWhirter
Hello Jesse:
(Col) Robert Hays was my husband's 3x great grandfather. I'm sorry to say that I don't know anything about your relative Mr. McWhirter. I have several history books and articles, so I'll see what I can do to find something on him.
I can tell you that my husband's aunt, Eleanor Donelson Hays married Elbert S. Stegall and they had a daughter, Gertrude "Trudy" Stegall. Trudy married a McWhirter: Burton Terrell McWhirter in 1949.....way after Haysboro, of course, was founded. However, I have found that the acorns don't fall far from the tree, so wouldn't be surprised if Burton Terrell McWhirter is a descendant of your McWhirter.
My direct e-mail is: crlhys@aol.com.
I'll let you know what I come up with.
Carol
