Bio and Links
Bio Photo I research the McWh*rter family and I am a member of the McWh*rter family DNA project Kit# 15497.I am the DNA representative for William McWhirter 1720-1802 and his brother Henry McWhirter I live in Lincoln County Tennessee. I have 38 years of Family research to exchange with anyone who has connections or information on this family. I research North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina and Texas. My main families are McWhirter, Moore, Ferrier, Marlin, Baker, Lewis, Little, Delong. I work to expand all the memorials I manage and link each and every person to their family members. I do not care for people who horde memorials for no other reason than to say they have the greatest amount of memorials, that they plan to do nothing with "ever".

Dance Cem - finding it
I have written a good set of instructions to find the Dance Cemetery in Moore County at my site:

My site is complete I am 100% certain no one will uncover any more gravestones not shown on the above site if that is your concern.

You are very welcome! Thanks for your email. William's grave is tucked near the rear of the cemetery back near the edge of the woods with pine branches overhanging his grave. I was glad to find the grave and such a nice stone.

Thank you for your request for transferring the management to you to honor this gentleman who I assume is certainly down your family line. Lol. Please let me know if I can assist you with any others or any other way. Thanks, Maria

To which one are you referring? I don't have one married to a WHITE. Mine were my gg-grandfather, married to Mahala Jane DAVIS, and his son, married to a YARBOROUGH. There was one in North Carolina and I haven't done any research on him. I think he was the s/o one of my g-grand-uncles. Is that the one? Do you belong to ancestry; if so, you can look at my tree?

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 45373017

You are welcome. Actually, I was looking for pictures of my grandmother`s siblings and in-laws. My grandmother is Lillie Mae McWhorter
Widner. Charlie Woodruff would be her brother-in-law, I think. I was looking all around the Woodruff graves, but I did not see his. There was a large block and a space right beside their graves. I wonder if that could be where he is buried. Also, I did not see a tombstone for Emma Viola McWhorter Fielding at the other cemetery in Arab. But, her name is listed on her husband`s tombstone. I really thought that she must be buried in Jasper, Alabama. Sorry that the picture of Sarah McWhorter was unreadable.

They interviewed my grandmother in 1975 about her grandfather. I thought that it was interesting. Did you see it? You probably did, but I am always trying to find new information and pictures. If you have any information, I would appreciate seeing it.

Macon WcWhorter at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery
Jesse I have asked the creator to delete this memorial because it is a duplicate. This person is at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, but in Marshall Co. AL not in DeKalb. FYI...There are several McWhorters in this cemetery with Macon. A picture is posted to his memorial I believe... if not I will post one in the next day or 2.
