I research the McWh*rter family and I am a member of the McWh*rter family DNA project Kit# 15497.I am the DNA representative for William McWhirter 1720-1802 and his brother Henry McWhirter I live in Lincoln County Tennessee. I have 38 years of Family research to exchange with anyone who has connections or information on this family. I research North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina and Texas. My main families are McWhirter, Moore, Ferrier, Marlin, Baker, Lewis, Little, Delong. I work to expand all the memorials I manage and link each and every person to their family members. I do not care for people who horde memorials for no other reason than to say they have the greatest amount of memorials, that they plan to do nothing with "ever".|

|Geraldine (Elrod) Pollard||RE: Slave- Jack Pollard- White county|
His name is Jake & since he was the slave of Edward Varner (E. V.) Pollard, Sr., I added the name Pollard when we surveyed the White County Cemeteries. And, I know that he would go by Pollard surname since that was the surname of his owner. He had a daughter, Lucy Scurlock, with Mary Polly Scurlock, a white woman. Edward Varner Pollard, Sr. is my husband's g-g-grandfather. What are you wanting to know? I

A pic has been posted, however, the gravestone's dates are in error. According to his death certificate the dates on his memorial are correct. He is in Confederate's Rest Plat # N20.

|Jill Wave||update on Polizzi, Frances|
Just found her mother in Pine Crest and her obit says her daughter (in 2008) was Frances Horne! There is a record for her husband McWhirter which is probably why she has a record without a death date since 2010.
|Jill Wave||Frances Merle Polizzi McWhirter Hogan photo request|
Hi! I was looking at the photo requests for Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, AL and saw Frances's request. Since it did not have a death date, looked on Ancestry and found that she remarried in 1984 and became a Hogan (Virginia marriage, to Thomas Hogan Sr.)
Do you know if she has passed away? Was she a Hogan when she died?
Noticed my early family members were not on. Protocal="not found in cemetery" but where else would they be but with family members. My John Bixler emancipated both in 1825 so Kesiah could marry.

Sorry for the delay I have been out of touch so to speak. I have completed the transfer you requested.
Have a great day

I will be attending decoration at Hopewell on the 3rd Sunday in May. I will have to look at the headstone to make sure the dates are the same but I believe this is my great uncle Jeff. I will upload a photo. Are there any other graves at Hopewell that you may be interested in having a photo of?

|Robie Merritt Loriaux-Roberts||RE: Elmer Gilbert Cantrell|
I'm sorry but I do not know the answer to your question. This memorial was transferred to me when I was working on my Cantrell connection to my main line. I have not been able to play him in my line thus I know nothing about him.
If you believe he is the same one I will enter your information on Find A Grave.
