I was born in 1938 in Oakland CA and in October 2014, moved to Pleasanton CA, which is 25 miles SE. About fifteen years ago it got into genealogy when we found a book in the Arvada CO Library and since them, my life has not been the same. Just ask Chloe, my wife as in many respects she has become a genealogy widow.

Both of my parents came from Colorado. My father was born and raised in the NE corner of Colorado and moved to Arvada, which is near Denver, in 1920. He and my mother who was born in Arvada met and in 1926 married and came to California.

To date, my greatest feeling of accomplishment is finding one of my 2nd GG mother's memorial page and having a photo placed on it. This occurred in Feb 2010 and with great thanks to Fern Bray.

As of Sept. 20, 2018, I have created 30 memorials all for my wife's or my family members and manage 106 memorials, most of them are direct relatives of my wife or me. Which means that I have had 76 memorials transferred to me by other creators, who I greatly thank. Most come because I have sponsored my family's memorial.
