My Mom & Dad devoted much of their lives to genealogy, in a time where I grew up, going on vacations, tromping through graveyards, and sitting quietly in the hallways of courthouses, while they searched for records! They are both 30+ years gone, and as I sit here & scratch away at trying to re-create what they may have amassed, I can't help but know how amazed they would be, were they to have so many things at their fingertips! Ah, if I only had the finesse they seemed to have for it!!
I guess, in the wisdom that comes with age, I am trying to get as much of this together, as I can, for my kids- hopefully they won't wait as late in life to appreciate it!!
