Hello B C B ,
I noticed your entry for an Elisha Bear in the Stroud's St James Cemetery, Innisfil Township, Ontario. I have taken pictures of every monument with no picture of that burial. I contacted the record keeper for St James and after going through all the burial cards, they have nothing on Elisha Bear either. I was wondering about your source for this Burial. I can not find that death in the local papers or death registration.
Hope you can help.

I am so sorry, I typed the last name incorrectly when I was putting that in. It was Bernard Cleary, not B. Clearly. If you could take out the record you added for B. Clearly, Bernard Cleary already has a record :)

Thanks for taking and sending this photo of Duckworth's stone .
|Andrea Kamermans||Margaret Taylor Stewart Marshall|
Thank you for your addition of gravestone photos for Margaret as well as birth/death places. I have added the information I have about Margaret's surviving children from the Barrie Examiner in Feb, 1932. I see that the information you provided conflicts a bit with what was in the death notice as far number of surviving children.
From my own research into the Marshall family, it appears that Margaret and her husband John Marshall may have taken in/adopted more than one child. I believe James' origin is unknown at this point and that Jean was actually Margaret's sister's daughter. I prefer to just leave what was in the published death notice for now.

Thank you very much for adding photos of the grave of John C. Marshall, his wife & family. John was actually my g-grandfather's older brother. Having seen other photos of the stone in the past,I understand that John's stone, located in the Barrie Union Cemetery (plot #25), indicates he was born in 1847, whereas his birth, baptismal and death certificates indicate his birth in Elora in 1847. I know this, having been to Elora to research records for John and his siblings.
He was not baptized until June 15th 1853 at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church. He was baptized the same day as some of his other siblings: Emma, William Robert and Margaret. A Mr. Fletcher was present and the minister was John Smithurst.
I will add this information to his bio.
