Oops! I was so caught up in the photos I totally missed that the inscription had already been added with a note about the poem at the bottom. Sorry about that!

Thank you so very much for the wonderful photos of Ellen Lilly's headstone! I am thrilled to see it. I'm wondering if you were able to read the full transcription when you were there - I can't make out all of the words...also at the bottom are those words in the white area? Maybe a scripture or poem or something? Anyway, just curious what you were able to see when looking at it in person.
Thanks again for your kindness!

Thank you for the picture of Gordon and Alice Hughes' headstone in Briar Hill Cemetery. The picture's great! Hopefully it wasn't too hard to find.

I want to give you a big thank you for quickly taking the picture and posting on Find A Grave for me. It resolved a big issue that I have been trying to figure out regarding his death date, which made a big change in a genealogy that I was working on. Again THANKS!

Can you tell me any further details on this? Big celebration in April next year I would gather. And a great Canada 150 project no doubt!!
Hoping to go to Vimy next year, but if doesn't happen, perhaps this is an alternative? Find A Grave#62697116
|Jenn Kelly||RE: Bruce porter - Saint John's norway|
I see. I just looked at it. There isn't many graves connected to the other one.
I'm guessing someone added it as a duplicate because they've listed it as St. John's rather than Saint John's where I have my family listed.
Can't even spell my name tonight! That is Brooke, not Broke!

|Brooke ||RE: Shaw family in Midland|
It is possible we are related. I don't have a Sally, though, and understand there were a lot of Shaws in the area. The Shaws to whom I am related would be from Tiny Twp. - Helena Mary Bennett who married Obabdiah Shaw. Helena Bennett was my grandfather's sister.
