PLEASE do not add photos to Find A Grave that you have acquired from another memorial or from another source (unless you took those photos for that source). Photos fall under copyright protection laws.
I use other sites to help with locating and recognizing markers, (So I know what to look for.) to take my photos.
James G Landerkin photo The James G Landerkin photo Memorial# 49938677 is amazing. I think, but it's hard to believe, that this is the same tombstone as on rootsweb. As I look at it I suspect that the rootsweb photo was taken on an angle. I attempted to photoshop to clarify alas with no success. Congratulations to you lara177
RE: Andrew Wasco You're welcome! I've added the photo to Martin for you. FYI, this is actually a duplicate cemetery... the correct name is actually GATE of Heaven Cemetery, not "Gates" with an "S". I already emailed Find A Grave the correction, they will likely merge this cemetery with the correct one. I don't think you need to do anything to your memorials, but keep an eye out for the update.
Minnie (Perry) Klinck tombstone Thanks for taking the photos of Minnie's grave for me. But as I looked at the 2nd one, I see names down the right side which I can't make out. Using my photo program, I adjusted contrast so that I can see the names William, Samuel & Thomas but the names make no sense to me. So, I was wondering if you could recheck it for me. Are they Klincks as well? And are there dates for William, Samuel & Thomas?
Charles Butler RE: Charles Butler was not her nephew, he was the husband of her niece Sarah Tracy. He was my Uncle.
If Charles Butler Was your Uncle and you called him Uncle Charles, did you not out of courtesy, call his wife Aunt Sarah? In my family I called the women my uncles married, "Aunt" and the men who married my aunts I called Uncle. So did their families and my friends families etc.. I took the reference Nephew from the obit so it stays. By the way, if you want the full obit I put the reference in the bio.
Thomas Wright Thomas Wright's parents are Annie (Ranson) Wright and William Hamilton Wright. I cant seem to find any record of him anywhere, i got the dates from a relative who read them from a bible with dates in it. He might not even have a stone? There isnt two daughters with the same name. Annie and Addie are the same person, Addie is just a nickname born in 1932 and died in 1981. But shes the daughter of James Hamilton Wright (who is the son of Annie (Ranson) and William Hamilton Wright.
