Bio

I changed my name on Find A Grave from Walt to Gregg, as I am more known by the latter by friends and family in Taylor County.

Retired USAF, living and doing most research in Saloma and northern half of Taylor County, KY.

My first two Ancestors, Robert and Ezekiel Young came to Green County in the early 1800's. Robert settled in the area between Saloma and Willowtown in the areas that was Green County but now Taylor County. Ezekiel settled and ran a mill on Big Brush Creek in Bloyd (not to be confused with Bloyd Crossing), the area remaining Green County. I am descended from Robert, son of Ezekiel (1735).

I have a complete burial list for Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Jones Creek Cemetery, plus selected photos of gravestones. I just added a List for the Saloma Cemetery.

I have a list for the Young-Bloyd-Pierce Cemetery located at Bloyd, in Green County, KY, similar to the one here on Find A Grave. I also have selected photos of gravestones (but not all) of the Youngs, Bloyds and Pierces.

See links below for the website. I plan to cover more cemeteries in Taylor County as time permits.
