|Christina Nelson-Sivewright||Greenwood Memorial Park in Centralia|
A few months ago you inquired about greenwood memorial park. Things are not settled if you are still interested in Volunteering I am hosting a Volunteer Clean up Event on June 13th from 10am - 4pm. I am considering starting a non-profit "friends of the cemetery" group however it may be premature at this point. Here's a link to a recent article on the current situation... http://www.chronline.com/crime/article_03992fb8-fe50-11e4-a3ee-cbc95893f9fe.html If your available on that day and/or would like to help any any other way I'd love to hear from you. Best of everything, Christina

I sort of saw this one coming so I will transfet her tonight. I didn't just want to make the transfer without a request.
I am related to Marie Hosch who married into the Perrott family.

Good to hear from you again. No we are not related. I just live close to the Sybrant Cemetery. Some time back you put a lot of the memorials in this cemetery on Find A Grave which was great. There were some mistakes so I contacted you to correct them, as well as to add a lot of things. So we did a lot of communicating and eventually got everything done. Then I took a photo of Emma's and Seth's gravestones and put them on their Find A Grave memorials. Their gravestones are pretty small. In the 1940's, the local ladies Helping Hand Club purchased small marker stones for all the baby graves and those that did not have a stone, which included Emma's and Seth's. Back in them days there were a lot of graves that didn't have stones.
It was my pleasure to put these photos on Find A Grave.

Tammy, Thank you for adding this photo. I was just making a list of to-do items for an upcoming trip and was pleasantly surprised to see it had already been done.

Thanks Tammy for the info and reply. It appears that you're correct about the photo rule. I also read the rules after reading your reply. It must be a new rule or they don't enforce it. I had no problems nor did they mention this rule on my several visits there. I spoke (in person) to a lady in the office and told her why I was there. She gave me a map and plot numbers of graves I wanted to photograph. This was about a year ago.
I can't imagine any cemetery not allowing photo's much less enforcing it. I've never experienced this. I would suggest that you visit the on-site office and talk w/them in person. Good luck & let me know how it goes if you decide to do it. Thanks!
