Retired with a husband, two adult sons, and 4 grandchildren. Have lived in the Hickory, NC area for 24 years and am serving as Historian for the local DAR Chapter and also a member of Colonial Dames of the 17th Century. I am currently heading an effort to mark the graves of Revolutionary soldiers in Catawba County, and also actively building my own ancestry. It is such a thrill to benefit from the photos others have posted that I want to do the same for someone else.
