Bio and Links
Bio Photo In my earlier years of "invincibility", I enjoyed all sports, fishing, hunting, golfing, traveling, RV'ing, working, loving, and learning how to be a husband, father, and now grandfather.
A few years ago, I had considerable difficulty with acquiring copies of my own Birth Certificate, which were then needed. With that experience grew a personal and driven quest into searching ancestral genealogy. It is truly amazing to realize just how many persons are needed to create your own very existence today. And, one can discover how smarter they maybe were than you are.
I recommend "Find-A-Grave" primarily after other research quests. But for your immediate kinship, this will be your most treasured beginning.

Why are you requesting a change to the birth year for this man?

Elaine Doornbos
Thanks for the information on Elaine Doornbos. I have contacted the contributor of the duplicate memorial, which by the way, misspelled Doornbos as well as her father's last name of Foster.

If they do not agree to delete it, I will contact Findagrave administration.

Thanks again

Delia Johnson Moss
Please consider transferring Delia (Johnson) Moss
to me as I have her father CSA Capt. Andrew Jackson Johnson. Capt. Johnson was the brother of my great-great grandmother Selena (Johnson) Smith.
We have many family members in the Oxford Cemetery and LLano City Cemetery.

RE: John A Radar
Yes, that is him. Thanks for your reply, I thought I saw someone had him buried in La Junta, possibly with Eleanor. My mistake. Thanks, take care.

John A Radar
Hi Larry, One family tree member has John A Radar buried in La Juanta, Co too. Do you know if he is buried there with his wife Eleanor Julia Lunz Radar? If so would you please make him a Find A Grave memorial page.

Thank you for posting the graves of
George Washington Carmichael and his wife,
Leah Josephine Smith of Llano County, Texas.

For several years now, I have attempted to establish the parentage of Mr. Carmichael; his parents were Thomas Carmichael and Mary Ann Ward.

In the 1860 Federal Census of Kemper County, Mississippi, Uncle George was enumerated in the household of William Morris Webb and his wife,
Mary Ann Ward, the widow of Thomas Carmichael.

My great grandfather, James Leonard Webb was a half brother of Uncle George; Grandpa Webb was nearly ten years younger.

If anyone would want to have the information that I have compiled concerning Uncle George and or that of the Carmichael and Ward Genealogies, please contact me.

Thank you once again for this kind memorial.
