I am a career US Army officer and serve as President and Historian for the 15th Infantry Regiment Association. I am conducting research on all aspects of the 15th US Infantry Regiment. Current projects include identifying the final resting places of all Civil War soldiers of the regiment, especially those KIA, those died of disease in prisoner of war camps and elsewhere, and those who died while serving in the South during reconstruction.

I am also the Historian for the Society of the 3rd Infantry Division, United States Army; a member of the Army Historical Foundation; and a member of the 1814 Society.
