I've been exploring my family roots for many years. I've found participating on Find a Grave enjoyable and educational. I love discovering my extended family, both my living cousins, and those who have gone before.|
Please do not copy, or post to any website, any of the photographs or biographical information that I've added to Find-a-Grave Memorials. Please ask if you would like to use them in your personal genealogy files and then give credit for the source. Thank you.

|A Family Who Loves Genealogy||Three cheers...|
I have been working like the dickens over here.
Am trying to get Greenbush Burial Records online before they close their doors soon!
I need to call someone who can digitize those records before they are long long gone! Whew...
|A Family Who Loves Genealogy||HI there Martha...|
I did a bit of poking around yesterday and adding all of the Census Records to my family tree.
I did find her with Henry...and also found the will information and her death date from Rockland County Surrogate Court Records. Like you, we do have to rely on online sources. With the will, anything past 1900 death date are not online. We do have an index showing the Volume and Page Number where the Will can be located.
She died on 27 Feb 1922 with the will being probated on 3 March 1922. She went by Nettie S. Burr for that probate.
I did find the burial of Henry's father Frederick Burr in 1876 in Connecticut. Still searching for Henry!
Piece by Piece we will hunt them down...smiling!
|A Family Who Loves Genealogy||Hello there!|
Lovely getting your note.
I wanted to start a search for good ole Nettie...Jennette Jeanette ...or variations thereof...wink!
Send me any details you have of her that I can use in my search.
The last Census we see her single in is the 1875 NY Census living with her family. She has not used "Nettie" in the earlier census.
I tried looking for Nettie and Jennette/Jeanette and variations thereof using only the first name in the search for 1880 using her birth year. I then dropped the birthyear using first name search parameters to see if I could come up for any more.
Any tidbits of info that you can give me to narrow down the search will certainly help!
Looking forward to searching her down... We will eventually find her resting place I hope!
|A Family Who Loves Genealogy||Hello there Martha.|
It appears that we may be researching the very same family!
I have started working on the Sherwood Family from Westchester/ Rockland County New York and trying to get all of the family linked together.
Here is the memorial I saw that you had transferred over to you 51184429.
I thought it would be fun to have a reunion one day of all of the Sherwood descendants going back to Rockland County one summer. Wanted to send a cheery hello your way.

You're welcome. I wasn't able to find Raymond, but if you call the office at (203) 847-7422 and get the section number, I should be able to fulfill the request quickly.

I've fulfilled a couple of your requests at Riverside Cem. in Norwalk Ct. The notification system isn't working reliably.
