I've been exploring my family roots for many years. I've found participating on Find a Grave enjoyable and educational. I love discovering my extended family, both my living cousins, and those who have passed on.|
Please do not copy, or post to any website, any of the photographs or biographical information that I've added to Find-a-Grave Memorials. Please ask if you would like to use them in your personal genealogy files and then give credit for the source. Thank you.

|Henry Turner||Thank you|
Martha, thank you for the reply. You are correct about my identity.
I am not sure you are aware of the recent change to the SAC process, but you need to check the NEW "Edit" tab on your profile page. That is where any new SACs are going to appear. I have sent you one or more recently. Thank you!
I'm very impressed you've posted a picture of "Kite" Houghtaling in his latter years. Kite is my Great Grandfather's (Jeremiah) younger brother and remembered by my deceased father as a real craftsman and builder of homes. I've got some boyhood pictures of Kite if you're interested. Thanks for sharing.

I found a photo of Peter's memorial in this web site. Very happy to see that you are leaving memorials. I will share with Teen.
|Marlene Smith||Nora Smith|
Thanks for the information. I added what you suggested and also added Nora's maiden name.
Am happy to transfer your great aunt to you. At least you put flowers on the memorials.
So many ask for a transfer when they have not even flowered the memorial of the person they supposedly care so much about. Sometimes after a transfer is given, I go back a few times and find no information and no flowers have been added. I think it's pathetic.
And thank you for your compliment. I try to put as much accurate information as I can on the "free" websites.

Done. Sorry about that.

Done. Losing a child must be the most difficult thing for a parent to endure. Your turn to care of him.

Yes, they can tell you. I'm sorry I cannot confirm that they are close together. I did find close-by Michael A. Barranco who appears to be a son of theirs who died short of his 11th birthday. I created a Memorial and posted a photo which I believe is in the same plot with Emma. You are welcome to the Memorial.

I know, some of these things get SO confusing that even after you have them figured out, you're still not quite sure, lol!
The thought crossed my mind that they might be one person, too...
We have come across several ladies in our family research who seem to have different names for each census! Sometimes, I wonder just how reliable those early records really were.
Thanks for your help with this - it's always a pleasure to deal with someone who is so understanding!
