I have had a love of genealogy since I was a very young girl, probably because I had very little extended family and was adopted by a step father early in my life. I have been earnestly researching these families for over 20 years and have found sites like "Find a Grave" such a valuable tool in my research. I hope that the photographs and information I've posted here will help many generations of genealogists to come! As a young girl I wanted to be a archaeologist and I suppose this is my way of unearthing and contributing to the family history of these families.

My husband loves old cemeteries and is my constant companion on our grave site visits. He loves cleaning and restoring stones to their original splendor. He feels when they are moss covered and hard to read that it speaks of neglect and that no one is visiting those lost loved ones. He enjoys paying his respect in that small way by his little acts of TLC.
