Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am researching the following: Buchecker, Buhecker, Bohecker, Boohecker, Stacey, Stacy, Greiner, Ermlich and Ulbrich.

I do not mind transferring memorials, as long as they are not close to me.

Please do not use any of my personal photo's anywhere where else. You can use the cemetery headstone photo's as long as I am credited for it.

We are all here to help each other out. So please be respectful.

Hi, Audrey,

I would love to meet you, too! But I am in sunny and much warmer Florida! I found that I had more pictures on my computer from Hope and other cemeteries that I never posted from my last trip. I'm still working through those. It is time consuming, but being able to match photos with names makes the job SO much easier!

I have to admit that the Romanian headstones had me going for awhile, but I think at last I figured out a few key words.

I'm glad Hope has someone like you to take care of it.

Hope Cemetery
Hi, Audrey,

Thanks for making so many entries for Hope Cemetery. I can decipher the trickier photos much easier when I can simply match them to existing entries.

While I was trying to decipher the Romanian markers, it dawned on me that there were quite a few persons with the name of Aici Odihneste, and that Raposat was common, also. I did a Google search and it showed that Aici Odihneste means "Here rests" and "Reposat" means decedent. Apparently, the real name of the decedent is below the "Aici"language.

If you get a chance, could you re-check the "Aici" entries and see if you have names for the decedents? I know I may have posted a pic or two under "Aici," thinking that it was a real name.

LaFontaine Monument

Thanks so much for the excellent photo of the LaFontaine monument. It helped settle a question of the correct spelling of the name.
