Hi, Could you please move the photos from Richard H Welty on memorial 159237178 to the original memorial that was created at time of his death 104995016 please. (The original had not been linked to this cemetery yet, as his ashes had not yet been transported, and now we're trying to clean up). My cousin accidentally created the later memorial, and we are trying to combine them before transferring to his daughter's care. Thank you for your understanding, and please feel free to contact me via edit request on 104995016 if there's any additional info needed. Sorry for the confusion. It's much easier to do direct contact than to try to wait for Find A Grave merge requests, and we'd like to get this taken care of. Thank you.

|C. Peters Gustavson||RE: Missing graves|
Oops! I thought my message would be on the same page as the photo of the church! I'm referring to what was once the Second Street Evangelical Church in Emmaus. It's now a Masonic Hall. :)
|C. Peters Gustavson||Missing graves|
I'm looking for an ancestor who I know was active in this church in the 1800s after having separated from the Emmaus Moravian Church (his name appears in the publication that was available at the time of Emmaus' Jubilee celebrations). I would like to know if your list is from actual church records of burials or from viewing the stones themselves. I know the last time I was there I had found a child's grave with the name Charles Vogenitz, but the last two digits of the date of death are unclear. The birth date is Dec.10,1852. I'm looking for Samuel Vogenitz who died in 1857 (the only proof I have of the date he died is his will which was probated then).

Thanks so much for taking this photo for me, I really appreciate it!
|Suzzette G Yandle||RE: Yandle Family|
My husband's early Yandle family has been in North Carolina since the mid 1700s. Prior to North Carolina, "rumor" has it the family came from Pennsylvania or Maryland. Prior to the arrival of the first Yandles to America, it seems they were from Wales. My husband's DNA proves his ancestors were almost 100% English. The name "Yandle" has numerous variants and could be the reason I have been unsuccessful in tracing his North Carolina line back to the Northeast states nor across the ocean. The surname Yandle is fairly rare with branches all over the US now. One of my husband's great-uncles, Sidney Yandle from Union County, NC did move to, I think I remember, New York. Sorry, I don't remember the year he moved there. To answer your question: it is possible your Yandles are kin to my husband's Yandles? From my Yandle research and the persons I am able to trace, they all seem to be related regardless of the spelling of the surname. If you can trace your kin into North Carolina - you and my husband are definitely kin. Please let me know if this information is helpful to you.
|Annamae Maurer||RE: Lost Brother|
I am referring to the Grave of Michael John Farris who is buried at Cedar Union Cemetery in PA. Grave no 77134589.
I am his half sister Annamae Maurer, nee Yatsko. My brothers and I have hunted for over 25 yrs. But there was a name change. A Friend who worked for the Library of Congress finally hit on something and followed the trail to PA. A woman there that I was given as a contact replied to a Telephone call. She verified my relation and sent me all of his paper work and Medals for Service. plus the Place of burial. You added to the solving of the search for Michael John Yatsko ( Farris ) Thank You...
