I have been doing geneaology for more than 30 years. I am the keeper of descendents for more than 8000 people. I have a large site on Ancestry.com where I am currently involved in a major pruning session of my tree where I am trimming collaterals and fact-checking each entry. My lines include Danish, Dutch, English, Irish, German and Norwegian ancestry. A major project for me is the study of the Palatine immigrants that settled in the Mohawk Valley, New York from 1709-1800. Unfortunately, I still have to do the 9-5 thing but my plan is to retire early, buy an RV, and spend my time driving around America sleuthing out living and dead relatives, especially photographing small, forgotten cemeteries. And now I have a place to put those photos.
