Like many other folks of my generation, as a kid I was dragged along to visit older relatives and listen to their stories when all I wanted was to play. But, as we always did, I listened politely and gradually became more and more interested in their family tales.

I have only recently began to seriously research family history, and this site is a great help. Now I want add my own research and to contribute for others, as I know the frustration of not finding someone.
