I have been researching my family tree for 9 years and can be found on Ancestry.com and many other sites, or milling around in cemeteries when I am able, searching for my ancestors and the ancestors of others. I take photos in my area for those who need them when I am physically able.
I love this community of like-minded people who help each other and treasure the past lives of those who came before us. What a great "family" we have here!
If you have questions, corrections for the memorials I have added, would like a transfer of a family member's memorial, or need help otherwise, please feel free contact me by message or my e-mail address.
His wife is also in my Brooks tree. Although I have visited many cemeteries in Person County (my Mother was born & raised there), I have not visited this cemetery. All I can suggest it to try the current owner and see if they will allow you to take the pictures you need.
I am sure the person that created the memorial got the info from a transcription. Pershap she could tell you where. If it is a published source, that could be cited.
Have you checked the History of Person County books that were published about 30 years ago? I know the Person Co Library had copies of them. I have copies since I furnished several articles for them.
Albert O'Briant #38521853 The transcriptions I made in Person County were several years ago from a web site which is now defunct. Robert Terry [#46537864] and Ellen Kerley Manuel [#46547415] were pioneer photographers in that area for various websites and may be able to direct you to someone with a photo. You might also contact the member who posted the great historic photo to his memorial. Thanks for all you do.
