I will gladly transfer any listing to a relative who requests it (and actually encourage it, as I'm sure a relative would maintain it more lovingly that I can), provided you follow the proper Find A Grave procedures (as in, PLEASE USE THE FINDAGRAVE TOOLS, AND DON'T POST THE REQUESTS ON MY MESSAGES PAGE). Many of my listings are not related to me, but since I did take the time to record the listing and take the photo, I just ask for a COURTEOUS request. (Don't demand, please, that's just rude and unnecessary).|
Much of my family history centers around the southern suburbs of Chicago.
Since I also live here, I have been cataloging local cemeteries that have not already been done.
For the entries I have added to the Bohemian National Cemetery in Chicago, I apologize if I have transcribed the months wrong, as I have no knowledge of the Czech language. I seem to mix up "June" and "July" very easily, so feel free to correct me!

Hi Rachel ~
I would like to thank you for the time you have taken to add so many loved ones to this site. Our daughter especially. Losing a newborn is so easily forgotten by everyone. We, as parents, have never forgotten our beautiful daughter and hope to be with her,again, someday.
I am not really sure how this site works. I did join but it seems like I may need you to transfer rights to me to be able to update her gravesite photo? If that is the case, I would appreciate your help with that. Her birthday is this Friday and she would have been 21. I wanted to take a new picture with flowers decorating her headstone and post it.
She is buried at Skyline Memorial Park in Monee and her site # is 86776355
TY in advance,
|Linda Mashek||Thank you.|
I just found this site and was so surprised to find photos of the graves for my grandmother, aunt and uncle that you had contributed. They are Margaret Orr, Janet McKinnon and John McKinnon. Thanks so much for doing this.
|Patti Podboy||Thank you!|
Many thanks for transferring John & Betty Magoon and Harold & Marian Zahn to me. I greatly appreciate it!

I would like to request the transfer of management for the following people:
Cornelius and Louise Boender - Skyline Memorial Park - #89136080 and #89136081 - they are my maternal grandparents.
Also, Peter H Faber - Skyline Memorial Park - # 89322899 - he is my father.
Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you very much for transferring my son's memorial to me. I think of him every day and miss him so much even though it has been 20 years. I had become a member of find a grave but for so long I was afraid of doing something wrong so I did not really get started until this year. Thank you for all you do & have a nice day! Glen C Farmer Jr.

Rachel, I added a picture to his memorial and was expecting it to be pending until approved but see it went directly to his memorial page. If you would rather not have it, please let me know and I will delete it.

|Stacey Korn||Jennie Molenhouse|
Hello, my name is Stacey Korn and I am an avid genealogist. I am curious to know if you have any more information on Jennie Molenhouse, born 1903 and died 1996, whose grave photo you have listed on this site. My grandfather, Albert Bond, was married to one Jennie Molenhouse in Cook County, Illinois, in 1920. The family story is that she died from tuberculosis six months after their wedding, and my grandfather went on to marry the woman who would become my grandmother. However, after extensive research, the only two records I find that Jennie ever existed are the marriage record to my grandfather and your grave photo. Not only would I like to find out more about my grandfather's first wife so that my records are more complete, I would like to honor Jennie as much as I can since I wear her wedding ring daily (it's the only piece of heritage jewelry I inherited from my mom's side of the family). Thank you!
