Gomer & Judy, I wasn't asking you to transfer this memorial to me. You two do a very good job of maintaining this memorial. I was hoping to be able to send for a copy of the marriage license for James & Maggie.

|Jean Alexander||Lewis Alexander|
You said one of your family name interests is Alexander. Are you related to Lewis Alexander who is buried in Knoxville Cemetery? He was my husband's gg uncle.
Thank you. Jean Alexander
|Michael Frye||Robert B Tate|
I am researching the line of Robert B Tate. I have some questions regarding the information you added to memorial #97394491.
1 - You show his middle name as "Baker." I have been unable to find any source with this name. There is a related Samuel Baker Tate in the early-mid 1800s which may give a clue. Can you provide your source for "Baker?"
2 - You show Robert as married to Susan Grimes. This marriage is a mystery to me. My research shows that he married first Susannah Doan in 1828 in Tennessee. From this union were born at least 7 children: Gersham W., Angeline, Edward E., David, Enoch, son?, and Comfort. He married 2nd Nancy (Blevins) Palmer. After Palmer she married a Trow from whom she divorced the married Robert B Tate on 4 November 4, 1860 Sullivan Co, MO. The 1870 census for Duncan, Sullivan County, Missouri shows an 8 year old child living with Robert named Milton P Tate. He would have been born about 1862 after the marriage of Robert to Nancy. I know nothing more about this child nor can I confirm his mother is Nancy.
3 - Can you please provide your source material for the "Baker" middle name and the marriage to Susan Grimes. Do you know anything about Milton P Tate?

Wesley Eugene Steinshouer's mother was Sarah Ellen Kee Steinshouer, not Mary Riddle Steinshouer.
Gomer & Judy,
Re: Abram Slagle son of:
I was wondering where you found the data on the above for the parents for Abram Slagle. Another
family researcher are trying to verify the name of John Slagle and his wife. No problems. Just can't find that name (Cynthia) in my data.
