I was born in Boone County,Mo., attended Hickory Grove Elementary School, Jefferson Junior High School and Hickman High School. I hold a B.S. degree in Education from the University of Missouri, did graduate work at SEMO. After Navy years in San Francisco, my first husband, Bruce Hudspeth and I lived in Pennsylvania, Texas and various places in Missouri. I have one son and one daughter, no grandchildren, but do have seven step-grandchildren. After Bruce's death and eight years alone, I remarried to Bruce Shrull in 2008. Besides teaching school, working at the University and church work, I have enjoyed 17 years of genealogy research.
