I have been researching my BLANTON ancestors for more than 7 years. We originated in England, then to Virginia, then to NC, SC, GA, AL, TN and all points west. Am interested in contacting ANYONE who has ANY connection to ANY Blanton.|
I'm the daughter of Wade Leo Blanton and Vera D. Harrington, born in San Diego where my sister and I lived until our late 20's. I've became interested in genealogy when I was able to locate one of our half sisters. After being reunited with her and sharing our love, my quest was to find our other sister. It's been a wonderful story finding both sisters and my ex-husbands son that was adopted over 40 years ago.
I live in Summerville, SC where my husband and I are blessed to have our two adult children, along with their children living close by. I'm researching… Blanton, Munkers, Harrington and Luedke. If you have any information that may help me with my research, please feel free to contact me. Also, when reviewing any of my work, if you see that I have made any error, no matter how large or small, please do not hesitate to contact me & let me know.
Find A Grave where I found valuable information. It gives me a lot of satisfaction when I find the final resting place of a family member and a lot of disappointment when I don't. I appreciate all the work that Find A Grave members have done to make the information and pictures available.

Hi Nita! Since you wanted to know, I do have a shirttail relative named Callie Blanton, daughter of William and Carrie Blanton. She was married to my 1st cousin 2x removed, William Franklin Troxel. They originated in Missouri, but I believe both died in Montana. The little I know of their early marriage is an interesting story. If you would like me to tell you more about them, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org Pam

She is my 4th great Aunt we are 3rd cousins 3 times removed through the Werder family

I wish I knew more about her. Are you on Ancestry? You could view the info i have on her (birth, marriage, death dates) and see her ancestry. I would need to send you an invitation so let me know if you're interested. There's an image of her very handsome father!

Entries of this age have MANY descendents, so I prefer to make tranfers according to findagrave guidelines. You may add photos to any entry; you do not need permission from the one who posted it. Any additions, corrections or links should be done through the "edit" feature.
|L Eriksson||RE: David Seward Harrington|
You are correct. Something is screwed up. I removed the photo. After I scan the lot cart which shows exactly what the cemetery states, I'll email it to you along with the photo. There is no birth date or age on his lot card.
You may need to delve into birth and death records to get this resolved. My thought is that the cemetery records and gravestone for David is wrong. If he died in the 1940's, Armina Mabel Countryman Harrington Sandstrom Nissen must have been divorced from him and married twice after.

Sorry, don't know him, just creating memorials from obits and other notices. Pictures really add to the memorials, thanks!
|Bob Olsen||RE: Marvin Blanton Cranshaw, Sr|
If you go to the memorial, left click on the picture I posted. When it comes up on a new page left click again, and it will enlarge the picture to almost the whole page. Cranshaw is the large stone, second from the right. If you look down on the ground you will see a flat stone, the location of Daughter, Anne Douglas Cranshaw.If you go down from the Main Cranshaw Stone on it's left side facing, You will see another flat stone for Mother Anne Baird Cranshaw I can only assume that the space beside Anne Baird is where Marvin is buried, without a stone. The next time I am in Hollywood I will try to get a picture of the plot book to confirm.
|Cassandrea Martinez||RE: Allie P Munkirs|
Hello. If you click on the picture of the DC, it will enlarge. It shows that she was a cashier at the theatre. Regards, Cassandrea.
