Howard Cemetery
My friend and I take pictures of all pictures of a cemetery. I have deleted all of mine that were duplicates.

Howard Cemetery
Here is what happened with Howard. Find a grave has merged two cemeteries, one Howard Grove Oklahoma and one Howard Delaware county there are mannnnnnnnny duplicates and triplicates in this cemetery. I will remove mine since the we added to the one cemetery later than the other cemetery.

RE: Phillip Hamm #58703172 and Sarah Catherine /Bear/ Hamm # 53947846
I don't have much choice ~but~ to be interested in the Hamm branch. First, Guy Arthur Hamm, son of William Sylvester, is my maternal grandfather. These are "my people". Second, the majority of the extant family genealogy work traces back through Guy Arthur Hamm's second wife (Mary Grace Crist). If I want to do original work I ~have~ to trace the Ham(m) branch.

Glenda,
Looking through the linked family memorials I'm finding bits of the family's history scattered throughout! [happy, happy, joy, joy]

I'm going to copy down all the information available here and put it in time-line order. It may be possible to reconstruct the whole story from these obits as parts of Sarah's corroborate and elaborate on Phillip's. Would it be poossible to send you an email other than here(since the whole story may be too long to fit into these message boxes)?

RE: Janie/Jannie LaFollette
Hi Glenda,
Her name is listed on the headstone of her and her husband. See memorial 42688258.

The 1920 Census with her parents is also listed as Jannie.

Please also link her to her parents:

Father: Joseph C Kubala memorial 42686997

Mother: Millie Mary Kubala memorial 42686944

Her parents are also buried in El Reno Cemetery.

I am related to the family through her mother who's maiden name is Strouhal.

I can see why you questioned this.
Thanks and have a nice evening,
Susan

Contemporary "David Hamm"
My 1c was preceded in death by his wife DeNita Ann /Durbin/ Hamm, #57900501, at which point a double marker was purchased and erected. David's not dead but he's in his late 50's now.

RE: Phillip Hamm#58703172
The improvement looks good. And it may help someone else whose half-asleep figure out what I missed the first time! (hee, hee) I had heard of the David Hamm in his sister's obit. He has a namesake in my generation (Phillip's son William's son Guy's son Ray's oldest son is "David William Hamm"); he's my 1C. I just wish I could prove that direct line exists!! *sigh*

Glenda: I must have been over half asleep when I sent that latest message. What you said makes so much sense I don't know any other reason why it would not have occurred to me! (d'oh!) Thanks. Family oral tradition has it that Phillip is my 2GGF. However, I haven't been able to find proof of this. :(

Tony/Nancy Powell - Wellston
The Nancy Powell at Wellston is not Tony's mother. Tony's mother died in 1953 according to his obit. She may be the one listed at Parkland Cemetery (Agra).
