Bio

I have been active in genealogy for 32 years. I will do my best to locate and take photos of grave sites upon request.

The Find a Grave site has given me the opportunity to help others connect with their deceased family and friends. To me seeing the resting place of my ancestors is comforting, they are not forgotten. On some memorials we can find very interesting facts about the person and their life, I appreciate those that share the information with us.

I feel that our ancestors are very important and when we share our finds and research it helps us all. My ancestry site has helped me connect with family that I have never met or knew about. It's so fun to find cousins and learn more about the family history.

Happy hunting to all of us.

P.S. If your are a photo volunteer PLEASE take a decent photo. I have been noticing that some photos look very hurried, and don't show the entire stone, or a lop-sided photo. It must be very disappointing for the requestor to receive a partial headstone photo.

I like to take an extra photo of the view from the headstone, it really helps to see the surroundings and gives a person a feeling of visiting the graves themselves.

Feel free to use my Find a Grave photos for your ancestry.
