I've been doing genealogy since the mid 1970's off and on. I work on it in spurts when I can find time in my busy life.
I will add things to this site I have in my files as I have time. And, am willing to do findings for people in my area when I receive a request. I've been slowly photographing some of the smaller cemeteries in my area and trying to add memorials for all.
You are welcome to use any photos I post here in your own genealogy without having to contact me. I do this to help others. Although, I would like credit given for having taken the photo.
Also, if I've created a memorial for a family member of yours, I will gladly transfer it to you. Or, if you'd prefer, just send me info to add using the "make a suggestion" link from the memorial and I'll make the changes. Please provide me with the source of your info. It's nice to see "all the blanks filled in" on a person, but if the information isn't correct it will be passed on for generations to come incorrectly. Please do what you can to help prevent errors in data.
Feel free to contact me by my email or on my messages below if you have any questions. I enjoy doing this and seeing people successful in finding family members.
Eastman's Hi again Patty, hit the send tab before I had finished...I was one of the nurses that took care of Pauline and Herbert in their later years; had added their memorials to Find A Grave before checking to see if they had already been done. Another member has brought that to my attention, if you'll add the corrections I sent you, I'll delete their memorials I did. Sorry and thanks...she was very nice person,(knew her and her family before the nursing home...Herbert I didn't know beforehand), he on the other hand could be a challenge. Thanks and good luck.
RE: Kensington Thanks! It looks like the coordinates from NHOGA are for the cemetery across from the elementary school and library. Pasting coordinates from that site into google maps has never worked before!
You have done a beautiful job on the Eaton Cemetery. Thanks for adding the extra information to the memorials. I really appreciate the time, effort and multiple trips you have had to make to get this done for me.
I would like to ask you to please go to the Eaton Cemetery in South Danville and photograph the markers there if you are able. I have placed a map on the cemetery page. My dad, Harvey Tebbetts would be interested in this and we would both be eternally grateful if you could do this for us.
Ye Old Cemetery Thanks for responding! It says there's a Samuel Eastman there. I only located three Eastman's, none of which were him. I was able to uncover a stone that was buried but I can only read the name "Abigail" and the letter S under it (at the foot of one of the stumps). And no rush! I also only have free time for this a few times a month. -Jenny
