I am so impressed with the concept behind Find A Grave. I believe that all individuals deserve to have their final resting place remembered and memorialized.|
I have added memorials to this site for persons that I am in no way related. If you are, please request a transfer. Family transfer request are a huge encouragement to me. I feel like I have helped another family find their loved one. Memorials that have never been claimed by family or friends make me sad.
Thank you to all of those contributors out there that have helped me by memorializing my family members. You have honored them and I appreciate it!
I believe that individuals should be memorialized and that most of them would like to be remembered with their family. It is one of my goals to link as many family members together as possible. Family links have saved me a lot of time and helped me find family members that didn't know ever existed. When I add a family, I feel like I have honored not only the individual but the whole family.
Let's help the next family member or researcher that visits a memorial by adding all the family links that we know. When family members are not linked, it makes the next person do the research all over again. Also, if we have the information, let's use it before it is forgotten.
I also believe that family links make this site easier to use. The easier it is to use, the more it will be used and the better it will get.
Thank you Find A Grave for providing a platform for us to memorialize and honor our family and friends that have passed.

|Karl Brunjes||Fred and Anna Rowitz|
Hello. I went to the site to look for the markers. It appears that neither one has one. There is an open plot at the site. One side has three Rowitz names. On the other, lot 791, has Fred and Anna Witte. I have a photo of the empty lot. How would you like me to proceed?

Thank you very much for the picture of Edgar Vincent Collier. I am writing to ask since you have a picture of him, would you also have a picture of his parents, mother especially? I do not have one of her. I come thru son Charles Henry, of Richard and Hannah Courtright. Their daughter Pearl is my grandmother. I would be ever so grateful if you would have a picture of Mary Courtright Collier and would be willing to share it.
Thank you very much.

In order to have your request fulfilled, please call Lincoln Cemetery and ask for the exact location of the grave. They can be a little difficult about giving out this information and it may take several calls. Just keep bugging them. 301-864-5090. Post the location in the memorial page in order to have your request fulfilled. It is impossible for requests to be fulfill the request without this info because they will not give it to us. The cemetery is huge and can not be walked. Thanks
|Diane Hurst||Phebe Thomas edits|
Thank you for the edits for Phebe Thomas buried in Fairlawn Burial Park in Hutchinson, KS. I've added her obituary to her memorial page and I have a couple of questions/comments for you. 1. Did you intentionally submit Elizabet (not Elizabeth) as her middle name? And 2. Her obit says she died in Hutch Hospital which would make her place of death Hutchinson, Reno County, Kansas.
|Jack Peters||Julian Clymer 8/22/36|
While looking for his grave I found the grave of Eugene W. Clymer and a broken unreadable marker in the same bordered area. Do you think their is a connection? Photo available.
Please don't construe this as a mean-spirited remark because it isn't. Regarding the memorial for the subject number. Please be aware that this person has not passed. She is very much alive and active. She is one of my first cousins and I see her often.
When a person's name appears on a stone without a date, that is often a clue that the person is not dead.
