My father got me interested in family history as a youngster before I even realized it. Dad was quite an artist along with his other skills and as a child I watched him draw family trees with pen and ink so that relatives could have framed copies of them. Also Dad was never without his camera and he documented the family so thoroughly that my sister and I have a plethora of photos with which to try and preserve in a presentable manner.
