I am researching the following families from Horry, Georgetown & Williamsburg Counties in South Carolina; Sampson, Columbus & Brunswick Counties of North Carolina:|
My Husband's side:
I reside in Central Kentucky but am from SC originally. Even though we have lived in KY for 4+ decades I still consider myself a Carolina Sandlapper.
I have just started my genealogical pursuits. Will be glad to help anyone with photographs. I don't consider photos that I take for others to be mine alone and will gladly share but I would appreciate credit if you use any from my own family.
If I have created a memorial and you would like to assume ownership, please let me know. I will be happy to transfer as long as it is not one of my family members. If you see errors or corrections that are needed in a memorial, please contact me, I am always happy to make necessary changes.

|Durbin & Keaton Families||RE: Re: Edward D Durbin|
Thank you so very much and PLEASE keep up the GREAT work you do for Find A Grave.
|Hank Cox||RE: Re: Jessie L Wilson|
Thank you for the rapid response; and, for the compliment.
I hate (well, maybe hate is a strong word), dread seeing the name Elizabeth on a gravestone. I know I have to check "Bess", "Bessie", "Beth", "Betsy", "Betty", "Liz", "Liza", "Lizzie", and "Elizabeth".
After one of my duplicates is pointed out to me, I always look at it and wonder "how did I miss that?". I usually just say "meh", and move on.

|Sherry Derr||RE: Re: Irene Parrett|
Theodore Parrett was married twice. 1- Hazel Clark, is the mother of Irene and all the children; 2- Elizabeth Long no children
I do not have a burial place for Hazel as of now, but am investigating it and will add when I have it.

|HeflinHunter||Capt. John Fowler|
Thanks for taking the time/effort to take a photo of John's stone, which I had the U.S. gov't provide back in 1996. His stone was buried down below the surface of the ground around it, and it was broken in two, but I knew that it had to be next to his wife, Millie.
My PC was just that, a PC, with no network to allow me to do anything on F.A.G. In fact, I had no knowledge of them, even though I had been Heflin Hunting since 1974.
The City Hall historian and city library [upstairs] both have a copy of a painting of John made by a lady that I fd for $100.
Now of Naples, FL

I wish I could claim I spent hours in the hot sun looking for Otis but the truth is, I just photographed the whole cemetery. I appreciate the note, though!

|Susan-HCBAR Historic Cemetery Preservation-SRP||RE: Re: Shannon Cemetery Horry County|
Oh My, Barbara, Pam Anderson had to set me straight. I'm trying to help her out with this and got it wrong. Shannon is ACROSS the STREET from the CHURCH. So that's where I was wrong. I do apologize. We are fine tuning the information. Sorry for the confusion. I/we will fix the description about Shannon being across the street.
|Donna (VanArsdall) Hoffman||RE: Odd Fellows Cemetery|
It was a pleasure!
