Please take a moment and look at Buffalo Reflex Wen Oct 19, 2011! Thanks to all who assisted us with this "special" project!!! Didn't expect front page (with picture) and all of page 3A! |
I have grown up in Dallas County Missouri and as a child spent many hours going to the cemeteries with my grandmother. Currently trying to "round out my tree" working with my daughter, who finds it very interesting especially after starting with Find A Grave.
With help from other we have been going to several local cemeteries and taking as many pictures as possible, trying to document these cemeteries before they are lost forever. If I have one of your loved ones just let me know and I will be happy to transfer ownership to you.
I am not concerned with my "numbers" I am doing this as something to help others find their heritage, so I will be happy to transfer any of the memorials (other than my direct line) to other family members. To request a transfer please click on the edit tab, select the make a correction tab, than put in the request that way so the requests don't get lost in email. Make sure you put your relationship in the request. Thank you so much!
Currently working on finishing up edits in Buffalo City Cemetery & Oak Lawn Cemetery both in Buffalo, Missouri. Also comparing transcripts to Pisgah Cemetery in Long Lane, Missouri and Reynolds Chapel Cemetery just outside of Buffalo, Missouri.

I was delighted when my daughter inquired about the picture of the headstone that Family Search had identified as a relative. Buel and Bertrum would have been (are) great-uncles to me. As a matter of fact I was at Pleasant Hope Cemetery earlier this week placing flowers on some graves. I am related to at least half of the people buried there. Thank you for your work.

Ruby has a Missouri death certificate #1564, which gives her birth and death dates. I sent an edit but wanted to let you know the source of information, also.

I just found this site & sent your post on Terry ATTeberry, I was in the army with Terry, we served together for two years and in Vietnam. I found out about his death in 1992 when I was trying to locate him as we had lost touch. I visited his grave that year. Often wondered what happened to his family, I have a good pic of us when we was on our way to Vietnam.
51813360 this is my grandfather's memorial, can you please transfer it to me? Thank you

That is a very interesting story that your link sends us to. Good luck on your search. Sure would be great to find closure for him, wouldn't it.
