Bitten by the genealogy bug in 2003, we have visited many cemeteries in several states and decided it was time to post some of our families' memorials on this great website.|
Our work is not about numbers, we strive to make each memorial as accurate and meaningful as possible. We welcome any information or photos you may have for memorials under our management.
We are willing to transfer memorials according to the guidelines set by Find A Grave except for those of our families. Please use Suggest A Correction to request transfers.
In addition to Find A Grave, we're members of several genealogy societies, amateur radio hams and we help with civic activities in our community so we're usually busy. However we do check our email on a daily basis and we will respond to each request as soon as possible, usually within a day or two.

|Suzanne A||RE: Mary Chase|
Thank you for your quick and kind response. I guess I'll just have to think "what if" unless I find a descendant of Mary's who knows. But it is probably my relative, and I'm happy to see the memorial on findagrave. Your work here is
|Suzanne A||Memorial of Mary Billette Chase|
I'm trying to locate the grave of my cousin Mary Gillett Chase. She died not long before 1900. Her husband Salmon Portland Chase lived in Sumner, Woods Co. OK. You are managing the memorial for this gravesite which is described as "unmarked". Can you tell me what records are available that told you know Mary is buried in this cemetery if there is no gravemarker?
Are you related to this Mary Billette Chase? I am looking for some lead in order to research this burial further to find out if it is my relative. Thank you for your attention to my request and for your volunteer work with findagrave.
|DeAndra Stevens||RE: James Tucker|
It doesn't really matter to me one way or the other. Honestly, I've been spending all my time trying to link up the families I have in the cemeteries in the Southern part of the county and I've still got a long, long way to go with it. If I did have James or if I kept Dovey's they'd likely sit for a long time without me doing anything with them or trying to find their family out. If there's a chance you might do some digging into their history or link them up with other family they're better off with you. I hate to have them and just not do anything with them but that's probably what would happen :(
|DeAndra Stevens||James W. Tucker Davis Cemetery|
Hi, I believe James' memorial is in the wrong Davis Cemetery in McCreary County. I've moved Dovie's to the Davis here on F.A.G. that shows as being in Marshes Siding as her obit says she was interred in the Davis Cemetery in Stearns and I was not able to figure out how to create a new cemetery for a memorial already existing. The internments in this particular Davis are located in Strunk, KY. It's a very small cemetery and there does not appear to be any Tucker's in the entire cemetery unless the stones are unmarked or unreadable. I've been through it many times and it's a good distance from Stearns. There should be three in the county (at least), the last being in Yamacraw which is almost in Wayne County. Yamacraw would not likely have been mistaken for Stearns so I believe they're actually in this other Davis that shows as being in Marshes Siding unless there's a new Davis Cemetery (I couldn't find any info. Indicating this and I could not find any info. indicating there is one in Marshes Siding either). I believe the Davis in Marshes Siding is mislabeled.
Also, since you have James I will transfer you Dovey's, too, if you want it. I spend most of my time in the Pine Knot and Strunk ones and don't know or do as much with the ones further North in McCreary.
Thank you SO much! You are very much appreciated!
Yes, my husband and I have family scattered all over Forest Park, and they are hard to find because it is so HUGE. (You must have lived off 45?) Let me know if you need any pics there. It might take me awhile but I will get them for you.

Listed in the obit was her sister Reba Burke. Do you have any information on her? My grand father, Joseph J. Parker and Erma Pinley were briefly married from 1919 to 1921.Thanking you in advance. Dale

|W. Carlile||Raymond Layne|
According to the Obit Raymond Vaverka Layne was born to Jerry and Pauline Vaverka, I see that they died at a very young age. The obit also mentions guardian grandparents, so I am wondering if he was raised by the grandparents and if his last name was changed to Layne or what? Like you said, confusing. I would have though there might be some information in the obit to explain.
I'm wondering about the name Layne if he was born to the Vaverkas. confusing.
Thanks for the transfers of additional bollenbachs! I'm slowly piecing the family together. It would help if they didn't all have the same names, or nicknames. :)
