RE: Herbert Edwards Headstone
Ronald - Thank you so much for posting the headstone photo to Herbert Edwards Memorial Page. Your kind efforts are greatly appreciated by the family who are unable to travel to visit his grave site.

RE: Posting Pictures of my mom
Especially here lately I haven't been doing all that well, I'm still attempting to come to grips with my moms passing.

RE: Thomas Baxter
Thomas was married to both Nancy (1st), then Lydia (2nd). I believe they were sisters or close cousins.

From what I have seen, it appears that Thomas Baxter moved west to Morgan County with Anthony & Priscilla Ward. Thomas is buried in the middle of the Ward "Family Plot" at White Lick.

I'm sending you a doc attachment I found by email. I'm not sure how correct this is.

RE: Thomas Baxter
I'm descended from Thomas & Lydia Murphy Baxter through Adaline Baxter Ward.

I've not worked on Thomas & Lydia's line in a while due to work hour conflicts. I don't have a great deal & had hit that 'brick wall' on both Thomas & Lydia. Also, I and another researcher were trying to prove - or disprove if Thomas had fought in the Revolutionary War. The local VFW post had created a list of soldiers and veterans and noted that Thomas Baxter was a Revolutionary War soldier (which we found this record was wrong). I drive past the cemetery he is buried in all the time.

On a side note - one of Stephen & Adaline's sons - Lewis Baxter Ward - graduated medical school and became a doctor. (memorial #19756033) (I sent a correction to add his parents to the memorial).

thanks for the quick reply.
