Did you know that the Census statistics are notorious for being unreliable sources for ages. Historically, many people would increase their age in order to be eligible to marry or join the military.|
I just read this on the internet. I also find it to be true in some cases. So don't believe everything that you read in the Census reports or on Ancestry sites.
My goal here is to preserve the memory of those who walked on this earth.
I will do any and all changes that are requested. If you have a problem with me giving you credit for the info then please do not waste my time. If I can't verify that it is correct then your name and member number will be attached to that memorial. Please be patient with the change request. I will get to them as soon as possible.
The following persons were and are very dear to me. My granddaughters Dakota and Kyara. My sister Phyllis. My father Fermine. My grandparents Emmitte and Anna Hubler, Norman and Ora Jury. My nephews Chris and Jerry. My niece Brenda and my great-nephew (Brenda's son) Scott.
You may use any of my stone photos anywhere you want. I do not give my permission to use my other photos on another website.
If I have made a mistake on any of my memorials please let me know so I can do the necessary changes. Please use the Edit button when doing so.
I will transfer any memorials that are not related to me. Please let me know how you are related and provide your FAG member number. Just request it through the edit button.
Please read the rules as posted by Find-A-Grave. Just because you find something on an online family tree site DOES NOT mean that it is true. You should always provide proof that the information that you are adding is THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH. You should always have solid information to back up anything that you enter on this site. Always remember that some sources may not be 100% correct. I am all for keeping these memorials as accurate as possible.

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled in -
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who pass
Though it's too late to mourn.
Could you have known that I'd exist?
You died ere I was born.
I wonder as you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come and visit you.

|digger70||Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery (new)|
I was checking local cemetery listings today and noticed that John B. Bannon & Anthony O. "Tony" Marano are buried in Calvary Cemetery, not Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery (new). Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery (new) is Calvary Cemetery located on Park Ave Extension.

|Tom Schoening||RE: Photos of Obits.|
OK - Will send You obits from now on. Since I upgraded to Windows 10 it rendered my app (program) to cut and past useless. I can do it,, but it requires a lot of time.
Now Please swear to me that You have never added an obit the way I have !!!!!!!
Some times there is no other choice as many Find A Grave members have become inactive.
Please don' do what the other gal did - Delete the memorial and then re add. I spent the better part of an hour going back and re-doing link requests, some had already been enacted and had to send second request for their fathers new memorial.
Have a Nice day - Tom
..The older Clyde Laughard that I sent to you WAS from the Clearfield area and his parents and possibly him did live in the Johnstown area. I think that He WAS from around here in 1950 (I am trying to remember everything that I seen in my crazy searches.. so what I am saying may be off a little). The Clyde Laughard that I knew was a lot, lot younger.. I knew his parents, aunts, uncles. The younger Clyde Laughard lived in Seward and surrounding areas (he is deceased now)AND HE GREW UP IN JOHNSTOWN.. He and his brothers were/are involved with autos.. like junk yards and stuff like that. They were Carl Robert, Clyde Ronald, Clark Ray, Clair Roger, Clifford (I forget... Roy, maybe). some of them were/are also involved in racing. I have not seen them since they were children, but I am pretty sure that the link I sent to you is the Clyde Laughard that you are looking for. I don't know where he is buried at, but you can always make a find a grave memorial (I haven't seen one) and link him to his parents. Milton Laughard and Pearl Ball Laughard. If he were living, he would be in his 80's. I am saying that these are crazy searchers because you have divorces, out of wedlock births and 2 and 3 people with the same first names. 2 women with the last maiden names of Ball married to Laughards (but different generations) and some with the same names.. and that's women.. lol These people are basically all related. Other last names involved are Locket whoops, I forgot. If you don't mind please delete this message as soon as possible after you read it because these boys (men lol) are all still living and I just don't want them to see this. thanks

Hi, no, I am not related to the Laughards; they were friends of mine. I don't know of the Clyde Laughard that you are looking for or his immediate family. I've been searching this off and on all day and it is driving me crazy. I think that the Clyde Laughard that you are looking for might have lived in Texas, but not positive. http://www.werelate.org/wiki/Person:Clyde_Laughard_(3)

|Martha Young||Andrew Jackson Hubler's wife|
Henrietta I wanted to make a notation that A J Hubler's wife Susannah did not pass away in 1861. AJ and Susannah also had two daughters Helen Della Hubler(1863-1933)and Elsie(abt 1865- bef 1870) Susannah divorced Andrew and remarried Jacob William Knepp(1838-1882) about 1868 and had two more children Frederick Reed Knepp (1869-1938) and Isaac Franklin Knepp (1871-1944) After Jacob passed away Susannah remarried George H Barger(1825-1906) on 24 Dec 1887.I have not been able to find any death record for Susannah so I am guessing she passed sometime between 1887 (the last record I found for her) and 1900. With out the 1890 census record I had to extend out the date as she is not found in the 1900 census as for Helen Della Hubler she is my great grandmother and I have done extensive research on this line. Thanks Martha

Made note on the memorial of what you put on in the notes left. I would like more information on the marriage in the obit. PLEASE note I put a copy of the marriage records on John's Memorial. I am confused myself on the exact answer. It would help to have backup on the obit.

I have found the first death notice printed in Toledo Blade on 4/1/2006 & the obituary on 4/2/2006. Go to http://news.google.com/newspapers and click on 'T', then Toledo Blade. When the page opens, just type the date and you will be able to scroll through that day's paper, page by page, until you come to the obituaries. Then you can zoom in on the page to read his full obituary. Happy Hunting, Pamela

|Dennis Walter||RE: Mary White #104570473|
I found family of 6 located in Section F Lot 1 and 1/2
Edward J White b 1872 d Sep 17, 1936
Nellie G White b 1876 d Mar 22, 1966
They share a marker which makes me believe they are husband and wife.
Mildred White b ?1905? d April 13, 1930
Marker indicates daughter, I believe her to be the daughter Edward and Nellie.
Mary J White b May 17,1834 d Feb 23, 1900
Marker indicates wife of R.H. White
I believe her to be the mother of Edward.
John T White b 1867 d Jan 15,1912
Lizzie White b 1863 d Jan 7,1946
They share a marker which makes me believe they are husband and wife.
I believe that Mary J may also be the mother of John.
Thomas P White is indicated in the Cemetery records as resting in the same section and lot. However there is no marker to verify.
|Amanda Smith||RE: Osterburg Cemetery.|
I don't live too far away from that cemetery. I will get out there the next decent day we have. I usually have to take my 4 children with me or I would be able to go sooner. Do you know which part of the cemetery they may be in? There is two different churchs and cemeteries that are connected and its difficult to tell which cemetery is which, even though Ive been a local my entire life, Im not sure where on cemetery ends and the other begins.
