Ever since I became an ancestor myself some 30 years ago, my interest in where we came from, who my ancestors were and what their lives may have been like has only grown. I've found that my paternal immigrant ancestor came from England before 1630! That my 3rd grandfather was a 16 year old POW in 1863. That his mother had 13 chidren and died at age 38! On my maternal side, there are 3 signers of the Mayfower Compact!
