My ancestry is varied-German, French,Danish,& Scottish. It seems my German & Scottish ancestors both ended up in the Phillips Co.,Kansas area. There are the Hemplers,Tannahills,Imms,Mortons, and then various others due to marriages. I am willing to also take photos in the Santa Ana,Calif.area as I visit cemeteries there.
Morton Memorials They are both on their way. Remember when you requst transfers that you include the Memorial number of the person and your membership number. It makes easier for them to be found. I hope these are the correct oness. God Bless Patsy
Matilda/Julette Vallette Yes, I would love to have a photo. And any other information you would care to share about your family history. My email is email@example.com. (I tried your email, but got the reply that you are gone "until July 24".)
My mom said a long time ago there was an Indian in their family, but she didn't know who it was. Now I know! Thank you!
My family has been here in Ohio since the dust storms sent them out of Kansas in 1935.
Mortons Judy, it looks like we're cousins of some degree. Thank you so much for the memorial for Juletta Farr Morton Weeks! That's more information than I had until now. I hadn't known about the move to Washington. They sure did like to travel! Over the years I've done a little genealogy, starting with a great deal of information from my mother, then I would put it aside, then pick it up again later. My mother's grandfather (B.F. "Frank" Morton) was one of those three little boys Juletta was left with when Alvin Morton was killed at age 25 in the 1861 civil war Battle of Belmont, Missouri. I wonder if you have anything on Juletta's parents? So glad to find you. Thanks again for all the work you've done! Helen
Allison LaFayette Dillard Allison LaFayette Dillard was my mother's maternal grandfather. Thank you if you provided the photo at Find-A-Grave. I have never had a photo of him, although I do have one of his wife. Brenda Warneka
