William and Frances O'Daniel of Stafford County, Province of Virginia, are my fifth great-grandparents. In the early 1700s, they lived on Accotink Creek in that part of Stafford which became Prince William and then Fairfax County in 1741.
Brick wall: Who were his parents? What was his wife's maiden name?

I have been proactively researching my family's paternal and maternal family lines for over 20 years. Family lines include O'Daniel, Daniell, Daniel, Daniels, Baker, Burgess, Butts, Cannon, Casady, Clements, Cook, Cooke, Ditmore, Herlihy, Pearson, Raiford, Rice, Rowan, Swanson, and many more.

I will happily transfer memorials to direct line descendants or to family members more closely related to individuals than I am. Edits and additions to memorials are appreciated.

Hi Robert thanks for the email. In a round about way I am related to Irene Deer Thompson. She's a niece of a great aunt of mine.. who I am searching for. I haven't explored that side of her Thompson yet but since I am finding alot of my relatives are from the same place and married to one or another, something like i'm my own grandma? LOL. Sure I'd like the transfer please, thanks so much for your time!!
Have a great day!
sincerely Karyn

Thank you for your service!
Do you still live in PC, FL?
I see your ancestors are from where I live!
If there is ever anything you need up here in Prince William county, or northern Virginia, just let me know. Although, I am from Yakima, WA which is where your Southwood relatives resided! Small world!

Marvin Charles Southwood, Jr.
I see you are Marvin's cousin, would you like me to transfer his memorial over to your care?

I appreciate your enthusiasm for our veterans and like you, my goal is to honor their memory.

According to Fort Sam National Cemetery his date of death is November 16, 2005.

If I can help you with any thing at Fort Sam National Cemetery I'll be glad to help.

Thank you for your service to our country.

I got the DOD from the Veterans Administration Website, either the SSDI or the Veterans Administration is incorrect. I am planning a visit to Fort Sam National Cemetery tomorrow, I will check with the office and ask for the correct date. I am fairly familiar with the cemetery and I doubt the burial was on the 16th. The cemetery is extremely busy with many burials per day and a waiting period for burials.

I always add the rank in the bio and most often also in the note section of the memorial page.

Thanks for the information, however, the information I have indicates the DOD as November 16, 2005, not as November 15 as you sent in an Edit. If my information is incorrect I will gladly change it if you can send me a link to the information that you have.

For the prefix, I do not enter one on memorials that I manage, there are General's buried adjacent to PVT's, CMSGT's buried next to A1C, etc.

I have accepted the place of birth and death, but change the DOD back to the information that I have.

I hope that you understand why I declined the edits you sent and hopefully we can work together in the future.

We have searched the South Grounds of this cemetery and have not located the Williamson's. Are you sure they are resting in the south grounds?
Have a great day. .
