I've been doing research for about 39 years and have nearly 496,000 people in my database. I'm slowly trying to add what I have to Find-A-Grave. What a great resource! I've collected much information from here and hope I can return the favor.

I moved near Augusta, GA, in 2011 (after living near Camden, SC, for close to 30 years), have been married for 45 years (yes, to the same man), have two grown children, three absolutely perfect grandchildren, and two great-grands. I still work full time and get out to "see dead people" whenever possible. My son tells me I need to get a life.

I work hard to get my information as accurate as possible and am thankful when other contributors do the same. I'm happy to make requested corrections or consider transfers, but please use the EDIT tab on the memorial. It's easier to manage the emails that way, and it gives me a link to the memorial and your profile if I need to leave a message. If you request a transfer, please tell me the relationship to the person. Thanks!

If you don't have an account, then no email address is given in the message I get, nor is there a link to a profile where a public message can be left, so I have no way to respond.

As far as pictures go, feel free to add what you like to any of my memorials, but remember -- don't post church/cemetery photos on memorials -- they belong on the main cemetery page. Also, if you have an obituary that has already been transcribed and posted, please DO NOT add the scanned copy -- that's redundant and isn't web-searchable because it's not text. If your scanned copy hasn't been transcribed, feel free to email it to me and I will be happy to transcribe and post it. That is my preferred way to post obituaries -- as I said, text is web-searchable, scanned graphics files are not.
