When I started searching for my mother's family that she never knew, I didn't anticipate getting so caught up in the past. My hope is to help others find some of the missing pieces to the story of those who came before.|
My family consists of one son, and my husband.
My main family names of interest are: Biersdorff, Rice, Aldrich, Thompson, Camp and Sabbe.

Thanks very much and sorry about that. It was most likely from the Bismarck Tribune.
No, I am not related. Thanks for asking though! :-)
re: Esther Rice
I have added the obituary for Esther Rice, but not until after I looked it up and could site the reference for it.
Are you part of the family?

Thank you for doing all this. I have just linked Allie to William. You have knowledge of the family and pictures. Are you related? If so I would like to share additional info with you as these are all my distant cousins.

Photos have been posted on the memorial pages you created for Donald & John Syverson. You inquired about a wife being buried next to Donald. I did not see anyone else buried near him. His stone sat alone next to his parents. I did not however look too hard as I was not aware of a wife that could be buried near him. I did not see anything, but I will take a look sometime in the future, just in case she was in the same plot area and I missed her. Glad to be of help with what I was able to find for you. I enjoy the photo requests. After such a long winter, it's been wonderful to be able to spend some time outdoors doing the photo requests.
|Suzanne Erickson||Sophie Syverson|
I was able to locate and photograph your photo request for Sophie Syverson. She shares a stone with her husband John G. Syverson. Birth date on the stone for John is 1889 with his death in 1966. I took a photo for him as well. If you would like to create a memorial page for John, I can add a photo for him too. In the meantime I will add the photo you requested on Sophie's page. Also, buried next to Sophie and John I found a stone for Donald O. Syverson birth Mar. 15, 1922 death Jul 17, 1992. He was also a veteran as his stone reads, PFC US Army WW II. A son to Sophie & John perhaps? I did photograph his stone as well, so if he's another one you would like to create a page for, I can add his stone photo as well. Just let me know. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a message.
|InMemory||RE: Minnie Reher|
I've been trying to find Minnie and John's children.
I just found a Find A Grave memorial for Wilhelmine F Schultz 38060591 which was created in 2009. The flat marker are similar to her husbands John Schulz. So I deleted the Find A Grave memorial that you created. Her husbands last name was spelled Schulz vs Minnie's Schultz.
I would still appreciate any research you can do to come up with a marriage and or death certificate which shows that Minnie's parents were Carl and Johanna Reher.

Looking at the census the dates make sense. However, it would help to see a marriage certificate and death certificate stating that her parents were Carl and Johanna Reher. Otherwise there are other Minnie Schultz in Minnesota who could also fit based on birth date. Such a common name for that time. I so appreciate any research you are able to do. I only have access to Family Search, which can be limited
