2024: I recently "inherited" over 20,000 memorials from a fallen graver. I am working my way through the edits sent to the original manager. Patience is appreciated!

NOTE REGARDING MEMORIALS THAT I MANAGE: (Please note: if there is a memorial you would like to manage because you are related, then send me an email so we can chat about it. I might be related also, so I would keep it or I might not; until you ask, you won't know :-) )
I MIGHT just be managing the memorial to keep it out of the clutches of those who strive to do nothing but increase the number of memorials that they manage without regard to accuracy, kindness or the rules of Findagrave. Unfortunately, there are several such folks in my area so I have found myself in the position of having to create memorials for those recently deceased in my county just to save them from the "collectors."

MISSION: I take the management of memorials VERY seriously and strive to present accurate information. I welcome edits and changes if they are correct. I try to double-check all edits before approving them. If I decline your edit because I believe it to be incorrect, please email me with the documentation to prove your changes. I'm always happy to have a friendly dialogue about genealogy. Thanks!

***If I know that the person whose memorial I manage is still alive, even though a stone and birth date are pictured, I will NOT put the birth date on the memorial at this time.***

BACKGROUND: I've been interested in genealogical research since I was a little girl. Have been actively researching for 25+ years. Besides being a wife and mom, I volunteer at the local genealogy society. It's lots of fun and very addicting! I am located in Polk County in the Ozarks of southwest Missouri.
