Called the office, and they have no record of a "Leon". They have a "Laura", and a "George"? Wonder if it was a transcription error? Of course that never happens!!! :-(

You are very welcome it was a friend of mine that gave me the photo for this site as age looks after the war graves there.

I uploaded a photo of her stone for you today; I wish there had been dates on it for you! If you need a larger copy, I'd be happy to email you one; just email me at kellimama[at]gmail.com
Thanks for the transfer Laura. Much appreciated!

Did you know this family? What a tragedy - I wonder who raised the child.

I am looking at your photo request for him. I have been to the Governor's Palace many times, but there are no marked graves in the gardens, although a mass grave found during the restoration does exist. The sign near the grave site states that the names of the men and women buried there are unknown. I can post photos of the sign on and plot where the graves are located if you wish. There is no marker on the grounds listing his name that I have seen.

This grave is in the wrong Cemetery...it should be in NEW Belleville Ridge Cemetery.

I recently found her grave and noticed it was in a family plot. If you would like I can go back and take those pictures for you.
